At some point in the past, the commander of the Revolutionary Army, Emporio Ivankov, consumed the Horu Horu no Mi (Horm-Horm) Devil Fruit. The fruit’s appearance is unknown.

Strengths

The main ability of this fruit, as shown by Ivankov is that the user can produce hormones that can quickly and significantly change any subject’s body in any way they choose, enabling the user to remodel the human from the inside out on a genetic level.

The user can also transform their fingers into syringes in order to inject hormones into the recipient’s body, including their own, if they choose to. These hormones can be freely used to change every aspect of the target’s physical appearance, including gender, body temperature, skin color, growth, stamina and even emotional condition. This power gained Ivankov the title, “Miracle Worker”.

It is possible to give someone physical traits that are helpful in battle by using these hormones. For example, one could give someone a rush of adrenaline to boost their stamina so they can fight even when they are exhausted, and even enlarge certain parts of the body to enhance certain attacks, or even change a person’s gender so that they can fight as the opposite gender. When a man is transformed into a woman, his or her body becomes soft, agile, flexible, making them resistant to blunt forces.

The user can also produce certain hormones that can strengthen the recipient’s natural immune system, which increases their chance of surviving illness and poison that would otherwise be fatal.

Weaknesses

However, this does not mean that the hormones produced by this power are some sort of miraculous treatment; in fact if they are taken excessively, they might have negative effects that could be fatal. While the user can produce healing hormones, the likelihood of survival is only marginally increased because the treatment with healing hormones is excruciatingly painful and even takes several hours or days to complete. Thus, only the people with the willpower strong enough to survive, can do so. A person’s potential lifetime may be reduced by years as a result of the process if the condition was severe enough.

Other than these, the user is vulnerable to the standard Devil Fruit flaws.

Ivankov has used her fruit’s bestowed abilities for various purposes. Ivankov and his ally Inazuma can be seen transforming between their male and female genders, which shows they love the idea of messing with the “gender”. Also, it is said that all level 5.5 Newkamas have changed their gender. Ivankov loves playing around with his powers, which makes him a powerful and persistent enemy in battle. Ivankov has fought various deadly enemies and come out of them alive, no matter how strong the opponent is against him. He can also recover quickly due to the healing hormones which can energize his body.

Ivankov’s reputation of being the “Miracle Worker” sources from his fruit’s abilities, which in addition to gender switching, allow him to perform other miracles on people besides himself, such as incredibly quick healing, by using hormones to allow a person’s body to adapt from a fatal condition to having a chance of survival.

Emporio Onna Hormone (Emporio Female Hormone)

Ivankov can fully transform a male into a female by injecting certain feminine hormones, using his fingers turned into syringes. He can also use it on himself. A man who is transformed into a woman develops a soft body that can withstand blunt trauma. The technique doesn’t affect the coveralls of the transformed person. It can just become too small or too large for them. Ivankov often uses it on himself.

Unnamed Male Hormone

Iva can entirely change a female into a male by injecting her with unique male hormones. Similar to Ivankov’s Emporio Onna Hormone, the person’s clothing isn’t affected, as they would just become too large or too small for them.

Emporio Chiyo Hormone (Emporio Healing Hormone)

Ivankov is able to heal patients with serious diseases and poisoning by giving them injections of specialized hormones designed to stimulate the body’s immune system to its maximum capability. This is the key to his alleged “miracle” recovery. The immune system’s potential is only unlocked by the hormones, therefore a person’s likelihood of survival is largely determined by their will to survive. This technique requires a sacrifice of a portion of the target’s lifespan to make up for the energy required to repair the injury.

Emporio Tension Hormone

Ivankov can give an exhausted person a dose of adrenaline that can ease tension and make movement easier for the duration of the day by injecting specific hormones that affect adrenaline levels. This hormone has a side effect that makes the person feel nauseous and exhausted after injection. There is a limit to how much exhaustion the hormones can relieve.

Emporio Ganmen Seicho Hormone (Emporio Face Growth Hormone)

Ivankov can make a person’s head expand to enormous size that even surpasses giants, by injecting growth hormones onto one’s face. Ivankov has been seen using this ability on himself. This can even enhance his Death Wink attack into a more powerful attack, i.e. Hell Wink. When his head is in this condition, he can hold up to 235 people inside of his hair.
