Jelly Island is one of the 34 islands surrounding Totto Land. Pururun Town is the only known city located on Jelly Island.

It is stated that, according to the current timeline, Jelly Island became a part of Big Mom's territory less than 62 years ago. Charlotte Linlin, aka Big Mom, is said to have modified the island's appearance with her Soru Soru no Mi (Soul-Soul Fruit) and Streusen's Kuku Kuku no Mi (Cook-Cook Fruit) devil fruit powers.

Later, Charlotte Kanten, Big Mom’s 48th child, the Minister of Agar of Totto Land, was appointed to govern Jelly Island.
