The nation was engaged in a battle with another nation, and was having problems because the Donquixote Pirates were supplying their enemies with firearms. The mission to stop the flow of weaponry to the enemy was given to the Happo Navy by King Ramen.
The battle with the Kano Country came to an end once the Donquixote Pirates were defeated. Its ruler planned to visit Levely because he was upset that Chinjao and the newly appointed Don Sai wouldn't be able to.
Sai spoke to his previous fiancée, Uhoricia, after arriving in his home country with Baby 5 and the Happo Navy, and the two decided to call off their engagement. After that, Sai and Baby 5 got married.
With structures that feature Chinese style architecture, the nation resembles an old Chinese city. A number of tall granite spires can be found all across the city.
Following are the main inhabitants of the Kano Country:
Ramen is the king of the Kano Country as well as one of the fifty monarchs who participated in the Levely.
Former pirate Chinjao, also known as “Don Chinjao” and “Chinjao the Drill,” is the leader of the Chinjao Family and the former 12th commander of the Happo Navy. He became Luffy’s ally during the Dressrosa Arc.
Sai, also known as Don Sai, is a member of the Chinjao Family and the 13th commander of the Happo Navy. He is also the captain of the third ship of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
Boo is the vice-leader of the Happo Navy and a member of the Chinjao Family. He became an ally to Luffy during the Dressrosa Arc.
The pirate, Baby 5, is the thirteenth commander of the Happo Navy, and wife of Sai. She was a murderer and bodyguard for the Donquixote Pirates before becoming an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates.
China appears to be the model for Kano Country.
This makes it similar to the Wano Country since both of them are based on Asian nations. Even the names are similar.
According to Monkey D. Garp, Kano Country is a minor ally of Jambalaya Kingdom, as the latter’s king Sauce instigated Ramen against Furrari during the most recent Levely.
