The Kibi Kibi no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants its user the ability to create “dango” from their cheeks, which can tame animals, and also those who are of part-animal nature. It was consumed by Tama.
The fruit’s abilities are demonstrated briefly during the beginning of the Wano Country Arc, and later, shown accurately, as Tama takes command over the Gifters, who have consumed the “dango”, in Kaidou’s Army (Beasts Pirates).

At some point in the past, Tama ate the Kibi Kibi no Mi (Millet-Millet) Devil Fruit. The appearance of the fruit has not been revealed.
By pinching their cheeks and drawing a circle with their index finger and thumb, the user can create small, round dango dumplings that, when served to any animal, will cause it to become completely tame and submissive to the user, obeying all their orders and defending them from harm. This technique will not injure the user’s cheek, and because the dangos can only be created by the user, they cannot be forcefully extracted from their body against their will.
The dango has a similar effect to brainwashing in that, while the consumer appears to maintain all of their memories and personality, they also establish an unwavering attachment to the manufacturer. They prioritize the user’s well-being and orders over all else, including their own lives. While most dangos are unable to tame people, those who have consumed functioning SMILE fruits are an exception, and can be tamed due to their part-animal nature. Animals tamed with the dangos are regarded as “servants” of the user, and people tamed by the ability expressively refer to the user as their “Master”. The effects of the dango lasts for about a month, and remains active even if the user isn’t conscious.
The dango are delicious but not nourishing, and so cannot be used to satisfy hunger. Too many dango in a short period of time depletes the user’s stamina. It is unknown whether these dangos can harm those who ate the faulty SMILE fruits, but they do not affect natural Zoan users.
To take Individuals who have eaten their dangos, the user must offer them clear, verbal directions; otherwise, they will act as usual. Also, after one month, the powers of the fruit wear off, and the tamed animal may decide to leave Tama’s leadership if they desire. Apart from these, the user suffers the standard Devil Fruit flaws.
Tama primarily uses her dangos to recruit allies from the wild beasts like Hihimaru. Because such a skill was of great interest to the Beasts Pirates, Tenguyama Hitetsu instructed Tama not to use her Devil Fruit in the presence of others. However, Holed’em’s subordinates saw her doing so, which led to her capture.
Tama initially did not know that she could take Gifters from the Beasts Pirates until she learned about it from Luffy. She became a vital asset to the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance from that point forward, since her Devil Fruit allowed the rebel forces to convert the elite foot soldiers of the Beasts Pirates to their side, giving them a strategic advantage. She was responsible for keeping the Prisoner Mine’s rebellion hidden from Queen, as she tamed the jail warden, Babanuki, and had him lie about the status of the roughly 4000 prisoners that were freed.
Because of their small, round shape, Usopp may use the dangos as ammo, making Tama’s work of recruiting Gifters to her cause easier. Additionally, because the Beasts Pirates were uninformed of the dango and its consequences, Tama controlled Gifters such as Speed, Gazelleman, and Daifugo, who were capable of spreading them among their peers, deceiving them into eating them by lying about their actual nature.
Tama has demonstrated the following techniques:
Tama creates a little dango dumpling with the capacity to tame any animals or SMILE users that eat it, by creating a circle with her thumb and index finger and pinching her cheek.
Usopp uses his Kuro Kabuto to fire many of Tama’s dangos into the mouths of Gifters, causing them to submit to her.
