Prior to being set free by the success of his own Operation SOP, he had spent ten years as a toy. Kyros presently resides with Rebecca after aiding in the destruction of the Donquixote Pirates.

History

Past

In his earlier years, Kyros used to live in the slums. After brutally killing two people in a battle at the age of 15, he ran into Riku Doldo III. As the king attempted to converse with Kyros, the latter hit Doldo in the head. Doldo nonetheless begged Kyros to go with him and ordered his troops to leave. Soon after, Kyros joined the Corrida Colosseum as a gladiator. Kyros revealed to Doldo that he was merely seeking revenge for his comrade who had died in the slums after winning countless bouts. Kyros was then informed that he would be freed if he won 100 bouts; four months later, he achieved this goal. Nevertheless, Kyros chose to remain in the Colosseum despite having earned his freedom since everyone else in Dressrosa detested him. He kept winning, one battle after the other. Kyros amassed 1,000 wins in his fourth season at the Colosseum.

Kyros voiced his regret while visiting his friend's grave alongside Doldo, adding that he will always be remembered as a beast. Then, with tears in his eyes, he hoped that no one would ever remember him - a desire that would come true years later. After nine years in the Colosseum, Kyros had won 3,000 matches and stayed unbeaten, taking just one strike from his final opponent, Riku Doldo III, all that time. Doldo advised Kyros to leave the Colosseum after the fight, telling him that he shouldn't spend his life in a cage any longer and pointing out that Kyros had let his guard down around him. A statue of him was built at the Corrida Colosseum as a result of his might. Kyros was appointed the Dressrosa army's captain at the age of 25. Scarlett, the eldest daughter of Doldo, did not like him at first but subsequently developed feelings for him when he protected her from pirates.

Scarlett abandoned the royal family by pretending to be dead. Kyros then lived with her in a flower field outside the realm, where they subsequently had Rebecca. Doldo and Viola occasionally paid them a visit, and they lived happily together. Kyros and his family witnessed the palace burning the night Doflamingo seized the throne. Kyros proceeded to the palace and addressed Doflamingo, who was imprisoning Doldo at his feet, after instructing his wife and kid to wait for him at the Red Flower Field. Kyros was shocked to learn that Doflamingo had dispatched men to kill his wife and kid while his leg was bound. In order to stop Doflamingo from killing Doldo, Kyros severed his bound limb. He then attacked the other man. As a result of Sugar's action, Kyros became a toy in Dressrosa, becoming her first victim. Despite this, he and Doldo were able to flee the palace. His change caused all memories of him to be lost, leaving just his monument in the Colosseum as a reminder of his legacy.

However, Sugar neglected to draw a contract, allowing him to keep his free will. After rescuing Doldo, Kyros fends off a squad of armed men commanded by Diamante in order to protect his wife Scarlett, and his daughter Rebecca. He discovered Diamante killing his wife when he was on his way to the Red Flower Field, where he had instructed Scarlett and Rebecca to wait for him. As his wife passed away in his arms, he sobbed. The meal Rebecca wished to offer her mother and her mother's body was brought back to Rebecca by Thunder Soldier. After admitting his mistake and notifying Rebecca that Doflamingo had taken the throne and was looking for anyone associated with the former monarch, he promised to defend her and stick by her side. Rebecca first claimed she hated him for failing to defend her mother, but with time, she warmed up to him. She then had Thunder Soldier as her protector. He took on other occupations during the ensuing years to support Rebecca and shield her from bullies, wild dogs, and boys who wrote her love letters.

When kidnappers stormed into Rebecca's home one day, Thunder Soldier was forced to confront them in order to defend her. Thunder Soldier, however, was forced to flee as a result. He wanted to teach Rebecca how to fight when they fled together, but Rebecca was reluctant to practice since she didn't want to injure anyone. Rebecca would protest about Thunder Soldier's techniques while he taught her how to handle a sword. Rebecca wanted to give up training because she thought Thunder Soldier would always be there to defend her. When Thunder Soldier acknowledged his own limits, Rebecca gave in. He led an underground organization of rebels against Doflamingo's government after abandoning her.

The dwarfs' celebration was quickly replaced with severe despair when Thunder Soldier revealed to them that Doflamingo had fabricated the news of his resignation. At the Colosseum, he also had a brief talk with Rebecca. Rebecca was adamant about competing in the Mera Mera no Mi tournament, despite his attempts to talk her out of it. He was simply a one-legged doll, Rebecca reminded him in agony and had no chance against Doflamingo. He departed while Rebecca sobbed in response to her outburst.

Dressrosa Arc

Kyros stood at the entrance of the Corrida Colosseum as the competition for the Mera Mera no Mi began, preventing young people from entering and blasting at those who did. He scared them off by saying that blood fights are not intended to be a kid's entertainment. He was afterward pursued by two Dressrosa policemen but was able to escape them by running inside the Corrida Colosseum, where the Donquixote Family has all the authority and where police and Marines are not allowed to operate in accordance with the law. When the soldier saw that Luffy and Franky were disguised like elderly men, he jumped down and volunteered to help them with their bags. He began laughing and falling down in a comedic manner when Luffy remarked on how hilarious he was in an effort to make Luffy laugh. Franky was uncomfortable when they protested that he was blocking their path.

After realizing how serious he was, Franky was warned by the toy, who informed him that there is no such thing as a serious toy because all toys exist to make people laugh. Later, he could be spotted in the Colosseum among the spectators sitting next to Franky. The toy begged Franky if he could tag along as he was ready to depart to continue on his quest to destroy the plant. Franky declined to bring the soldier along because he believed it would obstruct his path. Thunder Soldier cautioned Franky that discussing the Donquixote Family in such a way is frowned upon in the kingdom after he declared that he would question one of the Donquixote Pirates to learn the location of the factory. He then told Franky that they should have their conversation somewhere else.

The toy soldier discovered in the Colosseum's routes that he had been covertly preparing with his companions to destroy the factory, just as they had. Franky inquired about the location of the factory once more in order to destroy it immediately. The designer demanded, nevertheless, that they save the manufacturing workers before proceeding. He said that their strategy was crucial because Dressrosa would also collapse if the plant were to be destroyed. Then he promised Franky that he would reveal the history of Dressrosa if he had the guts to stand up to Donquixote Doflamingo. Franky and the toy soldier then walked out of the Colosseum and into the flower meadow. The toy soldier was riding on Franky's shoulder when Rebecca noticed him and yelled for him.

He replied that a sobbing warrior would never win a tournament when Rebecca sobbed out about her desire to live with him and her commitment to winning the competition. The toy soldier and Franky then went on their way to their objective. Later, he told Franky about the two laws that Doflamingo put into effect after ascending to the throne 10 years earlier. Franky then inquired of him as to his origins and those of the other living toys. The living toys, according to Kyros, are actually humans who were changed into toys by a Devil Fruit user who visited Dressrosa with Doflamingo. The humans have forgotten who the original toys were, and the toys have forgotten who the humans are, too. Before Franky could continue, the two noticed Flower Hill.

The toy soldier then took Franky to meet the dwarf army in the Riku Royal Army Headquarters, which was hidden beneath the flower meadow. Kyros spoke about toppling Doflamingo after Usopp, Robin, and the dwarves from Green Bit arrived at the headquarters. After that, Gancho gave a history lesson on the dwarfs, detailing their centuries-old slavery by the Donquixote Family and later, their freedom by the Riku Family following the Void Century. Robin enquired about Rebecca and her grandfather after Gancho finished his story. The toy soldier described the occurrence from ten years ago that led to the people of Dressrosa losing all faith in the previous King Riku. The toy soldier revealed himself to be Rebecca's father when Usopp asked who he was. After learning this information, Usopp began to question how he would be linked to the former monarch, but the toy soldier disregarded him and continued to describe the catastrophe that occurred in Dressrosa in great detail.

When he had finished telling the tale of Doflamingo's coup, he went on to explain that Riku Doldo was still alive because his daughter, Viola, had agreed to help the Donquixote Pirates in exchange for the former king's safety. The toy soldier continued by stating that both Doldo and Viola must have gone through enormous suffering, as well as the previous troops. Additionally, he mentioned that some of the toys were starting to forget their memories. They were still motivated by their animosity towards Doflamingo, though, and Kyros had plans to enlist their support for the uprising. He continued by regretting Doflamingo's fake resignation. He elaborates on how initially they welcomed his "resignation" with pleasure and adds how this was false information that prompted him and the dwarves to hatch a revolt.

The plans for the next attack, which Thunder Soldier designated as Dressrosa Operation S.O.P., were then laid out. He stated to Franky, Robin, and Usopp that the factory and trading port are located in a secret underground realm and that they will enter through an underground tunnel that the rebels spent a year excavating. The mission involves demolishing the plant and the port as well as eliminating Sugar, the Devil Fruit addict who converted people into toys. He claimed that Sugar must be defeated in order for the operation to succeed since doing so would negate her abilities. The operation was then ultimately launched by the insurgents. Thunder Soldier said that Franky might access the underground realm through the toy home as he was too large to fit through the hidden tunnel. Thunder Soldier, the dwarfs, Usopp, and Robin entered the tunnel and started their infiltration as Franky traveled along that path. Thunder Soldier thought Franky would be able to get in without incident. They arrived at the trading port after they reached the tunnel's terminus.

Usopp, Robin, and the bulk of the rebels eventually split apart, and Thunder Soldier went to the royal palace to assault Doflamingo as soon as Operation S.O.P. was over. He attacked several of Doflamingo's guys in the lift. He thought about the times he had trained Rebecca before saying that he desired a calm nation where his kid might live blissfully. After getting on the lift, the toy soldier and his band of dwarves fought Lao G in combat when they were halfway to the palace, but it appeared that they were outmatched. Later, when the elevator arrived at the palace, Lao G was still in charge. Baxcon, Nubon, and Daikon were able to tackle Lao G after Pica confronted Luffy's gang and caused the palace to tremble. Thunder Soldier followed along with Rampo while Kabu pushed Thunder Soldier to keep pursuing Doflamingo. Thunder Soldier, Kabu, and Rampo were apprehended by Gladius after overcoming a number of Doflamingo's soldiers. The officer captured Thunder Soldier before he could flee after handily taking down the two dwarfs.

The prompt arrival of Luffy and Viola then prevented the toy soldier from meeting an untimely end. With a Jet Stamp, Luffy dislodged Gladius, and the trio fled through a window. They eventually make it to the second floor, where Doflamingo is. Thunder Soldier saw Riku Doldo III when he was hidden from view outside the suitroom and was relieved to see him unharmed. He then awaited Leo's team to finish their mission. When he returned to being human, he discovered a sword that he could wield. He thought back to when he first met Riku Doldo III and his days as a gladiator as he waited. The moment Gladius and his soldiers started to reach the second level, Thunder Soldier started to get concerned. He also told Luffy that he and his crew were pirates, but added that it was comfortable knowing they all had the same goals.

Thunder Soldier returned to Kyros when Sugar's spell was broken. He then entered the room without delay. Kyros surprised Doflamingo and beheaded him after profusely apologizing to Doldo after keeping him waiting for 10 years. Then Kyros executed the in-room agents of Doflamingo. Buffalo made an effort to assault Kyros, but the ex-gladiator beat him with ease. Everyone was shocked to find Doflamingo still alive after rescuing Doldo. The headless Doflamingo was actually a copy, it is later made clear. The real Doflamingo arrived behind Kyros as he tried to assault the replica once more and attempted to behead him with a kick, slashing the royal palace in the process. Kyros was about to be killed when Luffy intervened. Another attack was attempted by Doflamingo and his replica, but Luffy and Kyros dodged it. Pica expelled Kyros, Luffy, Law, Viola, and Riku Doldo III from the palace when Doflamingo defeated Luffy. Later, they observed Doflamingo begin to execute his "Birdcage" plan.

Everyone on Dressrosa was held captive by Doflamingo and had to play a survival game. He set a price on the heads of twelve specific individuals to entice them to pursue them. Doflamingo has Kyros on his hit list. Kyros pursued Doflamingo alone, battling off anybody attempting to take Doflamingo's head. Later, armed locals attacked him and demanded that Kyros surrender. Kyros rushed through them since he had urgent business to attend to. Later, Kyros arrived at the new King's Plateau and scaled the first level. He then used a shortcut created by Luffy to go to the second level and, much to his dismay, was able to get aboard Cavendish's horse. Kyros was surprised to learn that Rebecca was moving towards the fourth floor as Cavendish shouted at him to exit. Luffy informed Kyros that one of his crewmates was with Rebecca despite the fact that she was on Doflamingo's death list.

Kyros described his plan to kill Diamante after he had calmed down. By joining forces, the other Colosseum combatants made a passageway for Kyros, Luffy, and Cavendish. Farul sprinted towards the third level as Kyros, Luffy, Law, and Cavendish quarreled for a moment about who would defeat Doflamingo. When they got to the third level, they encountered a blockade made of enormous toy soldiers. The squad was ready to fight the toys after Farul was severely hurt by one of them. Robin, Bartolomeo, and Gladius suddenly dropped to the ground in front of them. Gladius and the army of toys were repelled by Robin and Bartolomeo, allowing Kyros, Luffy, Law, and Cavendish to get to the fourth floor, where Rebecca was waiting.

Bartolomeo used his talent to construct a staircase up to the fourth floor. Kyros dashed in front of Luffy after slicing down a few of the enormous toys. As soon as Kyros arrived at the sunflower field, Rebecca was rescued from Diamante. Then Kyros assured Rebecca that she would no longer have to engage in combat. Kyros urged Luffy and Law to continue while he battled Diamante once they had caught up with him and Law had taken off his shackles. The ground trembled as Diamante responded with "Army Bandera" after Kyros sliced his face. Kyros jumped at Diamante once again when the latter identified him as the toy soldier with one leg. Kyros' ability to battle with just one leg astounded Diamante, who cautioned him that his cape was made of iron.

Then, he turned to strike Rebecca, but Kyros was able to block it. Rebecca made the decision to fight as well, but Kyros assured her that he would vanquish Diamante so that she wouldn't have to wield a sword once more. Due to the Army Bandera, Kyros found it difficult to maintain his equilibrium, and Diamante made another attempt to strike Rebecca. Rebecca was instructed to flee by Kyros since she couldn't block the blow. Thankfully, Robin showed up and halted the assault. Then Robin assured Kyros that she would safeguard Rebecca. Kyros thanked Robin and went back to fighting Diamante. He fought against Diamante's Half Moon Glaive strike, but he was exhausted and gave in to the blow. Kyros was the target of Diamante's taunts about his frailty, thus Diamante chose to kill him by utilizing Death Enjambre to rain sharpened steel balls from the sky. As he swatted aside every ball that came his way, Kyros instructed Robin to defend Rebecca while he stunned Diamante by demonstrating the actual strength of the Dressrosa Army.

Kyros, however, was struck by the spiked balls all over when Diamante shot him in the knee. Rebecca was about to face Diamante in a passion when Kyros stood back up and declared that he would never let his daughter have blood on her hands. Diamante and Kyros then engage in combat, with Kyros responding to Diamante's startled remarks about his stamina by claiming that Diamante had never experienced actual suffering and that he was bearing the wrath of a nation on his shoulders. Diamante and Kyros had finished their dueling, and the elite officer was getting ready to kill Kyros when Kyros charged and used Trueno Bastard to cut through Diamante's blade and kill him.

Diamante then hit his head on Scarlett's tomb and passed out. Robin hurried to Kyros' side after Kyros thanked him for defending Rebecca. Then, Kyros sat next to his daughter in front of Scarlett's tomb. When Pica showed up there, their time together was cut short. When Pica questioned Kyros about Riku Doldo III, Kyros was ready to attack him. Kyros responded to Pica's query, and Pica went without hurting Kyros or Rebecca. They then observed Pica go towards the direction of the Old King's Plateau. Leo, Mansherry, and Kabu encountered Kyros and his party at the Sunflower Field following Pica's defeat by Zoro. When Mansherry saw Kyros' wounds, she volunteered to help him heal them, but Kyros urged her to spend her healing abilities on those who were in worse need than him. The Birdcage suddenly began to contract as Kyros watched.

Leo was then staring towards the city with his mouth wide when Kyros observed this and inquired as to whether anything was amiss. When Kyros later observed the explosion on the palace roof, he advised Leo that it would be better if they avoided interfering with the conflict taking place above. After Luffy had thrown Law onto the Flower Field, Kyros remained nearby as Leo and Mansherry spoke about how to heal Law's injuries. Later, he left the Flower Field and descended Bartolomeo's stairs. Later, Kyros, Rebecca, and Robin team up with Bartolomeo and the gladiators from the Colosseum while Riku Doldo III exhorts the populace not to give in to hopelessness. Kyros and the other gladiators destroyed the last Donquixote Pirates on the New King's Plateau to aid the residents in escaping the Birdcage after Mansherry had cured the wounded.

Later on, he helped the other gladiators drive the Birdcage back using Bartolomeo's barrier. Kyros pushed and wondered where Rebecca had gone. When the Birdcage eventually fell, Kyros grinned when Dressrosa was informed of Luffy's triumph. He then broke down in tears of delight while hiding behind a piece of debris. Later, Kyros praised the dwarves for their efforts and honored them. After successfully ending the rebel group's objective and declaring their mission a success, he asked them to go back to the royal palace. Later, Kyros brought Bellamy, Law, and the Straw Hat Pirates to his home, where he slept and healed his wounds. He spread the rumor that Rebecca's father was a prince from a distant nation who perished in battle so he wouldn't have to be related to the Royal Family during this time. He explained everything in a letter to Rebecca after discussing it with Riku.

Luffy disagreed with Kyros' explanation of things when the Straw Hats were eating dinner three days later. Leo called Kyros to let him know that the Marines were on their way to his home after Bartolomeo arrived. The Straw Hats were then helped out of Dressrosa by him. Kyros packed his belongings and apologized to Scarlett for creating the rumor as he prepared to depart Dressrosa after Bartolomeo and the Straw Hats left the home. He discovered Rebecca, who had been brought there by Luffy, as soon as he left the home. Kyros questioned Rebecca if she was sure she wanted him to be her father, to which she replied that she did not care about his history and that he was still her father anyway. Rebecca then sobbed as she hugged Kyros. In response, Rebecca said she did and invited him to live with her family.

Issho was getting ready to attack Luffy and his pals with all the debris from Dressrosa, and Kyros was afraid the escape scheme would fail. Rebecca and Kyros held hands after Luffy and the others had fled, much like when Rebecca was a toddler and Kyros was a Thunder Soldier. Kyros shed tears since it was the first time he had ever touched her with a human hand and felt the warmth of her grip. Kyros refused to acknowledge that he was sobbing when his daughter questioned him about it.

Levely Arc

Kyros went to the Levely with his family. Even though Koby denied it, Kyros talked to Koby and praised his actions during the Rocky Port Incident after Koby protected the Dressrosa-Prodence Kingdom convoy from a pirate attack.

Personality

Kyros was shown to be a ruthless murderer and murdered in cold blood, but he did it to protect himself and get revenge on a good buddy. His wife called him strange for holding his daughter in his bare hands, and he actually felt guilty and remorseful about his past as a criminal and felt too unclean and unworthy of many things. He was also depressed that the world would remember him as a murderer.

He showed a strong rejection of authority by shouting at several police officers. Additionally, he exudes pride in being a toy that makes people happy and gets upset when someone calls him serious, even though he is aware that there are moments when he must be and does so without complaint.

Kyros in One Piece
Still from the anime

The only toy who could rebel against the Donquixote Family was Kyros, and that was only because Sugar failed to sign a contract with him. As a result, he took his responsibility as the only toy capable of opposing Doflamingo extremely seriously, and since he was a toy, he has faithfully worked with the Dwarves to save both the toys and the Dwarves. He treats regular people with kindness and generosity. Despite the fact that he seems to like being a toy, he is upset at not being able to cry or feel the warmth of a person's touch. Additionally, he demonstrated his fierce loyalty to Rebecca by defending her from both kidnappers and wild dogs. However, given that he frequently struck anyone who made her cry or attempted to write her a love note, he may have been too protective of her.

Kyros is a particularly vicious combatant in battle, as seen by the fact that, upon returning to his human form, he instantly beheaded Doflamingo's replica and shattered Buffalo's neck while slaughtering anybody who was in his way. As evidence of his strong desire to protect people close to him, Kyros promptly chopped off his own left leg to break free from his Seastone bonds as Doflamingo was about to slay King Riku.

Appearance

Kyros in One Piece
Still from the anime

Kyros is a tall, strong man with long, flowing hair and a beard that is pointed upwards. He is seen wearing a traditional gladiator's helmet, a cloak, and metallic bracelets, and a sword. He also had a scar on his forehead from his final gladiator battle with King Riku. When he was Thunder Soldier, he was a little toy soldier with a physique that resembled a four-button, dark-colored uniform. He has a square face, two painted blush marks beneath his square eyes, a rectangle nose, a short, angular mustache, and a hinged mouth. His limbs are lanky, and he has a wind-up key on his back. He is sporting a large spherical hat with the initials "SOL" on it. He wears a roller skate on his right foot, which he finds difficult to balance on while motionless, and has a little stub where his left leg once was. In addition, he has a little toy gun.

Kyros’s abilities, strengths, and fighting style

Kyros has spent a large portion of his life as a skilled warrior. He was able to end the lives of two individuals in a battle even at the early age of 15. He is a very skilled fighter, having beaten many strong opponents, including a giant and a fish-man that he battled underwater. The fact that Kyros defeated the entire pirate crew without causing even a scratch on himself or his ward Scarlett is another sign of his strength. All of Scarlett's other guards were easily defeated, compared to how he single-handedly sank the ships of the pirate crew that had kidnapped her. His skills are also demonstrated by the fact that, despite being a toy, which would naturally impose limitations when instructing someone in combat, he was able to train Rebecca in combat to the point where she not only developed a reputation as a fighter but also was able to win in her block.

Kyros was incredibly strong even as an adolescent; he used a crude blade to cut through a thick shield and beat his cellmates nearly to death. Despite losing one of his legs, Kyros has demonstrated remarkable power in the remaining one. He can jump to incredible heights and move at a very high rate of speed. When he returned to human form, he was quick enough to catch a string clone of Doflamingo off guard and decapitate it. Kyros also possesses a tremendous amount of stamina, as evidenced by the fact that he managed to go six days without eating while still defeating a number of opponents with ease. His determination is matched further by his superhuman durability. He was injured during his battle with Diamante, yet he was still able to easily dispatch a couple of the grunts of the Donquixote Pirates.

Still from the anime

Kyros is a talented tactician as well; he developed Operation SOP, a risky scheme that took advantage of Sugar in particular as well as the oppressive nature of the Donquixote. Kyros is a very strong swordsman and a famous fighter of the Corrida Coliseum, having won 3000 battles. He could overcome every opponent in the Coliseum bouts, including an underwater fish man and even a giant, with just a dull blade, demonstrating that he possessed the greatest level of swordsmanship. He seemed to be rather quick and elusive for a toy because he consistently avoided being pursued by the cops, even when he was only using one leg. He was a superb instructor to Rebecca since he taught her how to become a fearsome warrior who could battle without getting harmed or harming her opponents.

In the past, he had faced many dangers. But because his body is just a toy and has poor durability, as time passed, he started to deteriorate, his joints cracking. As Lao G swiftly defeated him in hand-to-hand combat and since he was composed of inorganic stuff, he was less physically capable of battling humans than he was in his human form.

Kyros’s special abilities

Weapons

As a Thunder Soldier, Kyros always had a rifle on him, which he could wield as a weapon or a club in combat. At the age of 15, Kyros used a made-up mace constructed out of a pipe with piercing nails. He had used a blunted blade in his days as a gladiator. Later, when he was made captain of the guard, he switched to a sharpened bastard sword. He discovered a sword at the Dressrosa Palace that, once he turned human again, he could use, and he utilized it throughout the fight on Dressrosa.

Relationships

Rebecca

Kyros' daughter is Rebecca. Because of his criminal record and reputation, he always wore gloves when he touched her because he believed doing so could damage their relationship. Despite this odd trait, they were a loving and joyful couple. Rebecca didn't know or remember who he really was until he changed back into a human, though, as being transformed into a toy erased other people's memories of the transformed person. As the Thunder Soldier, Kyros kept an eye on and guarded Rebecca when Scarlett passed away. Rebecca admitted she hated Soldier at first for not protecting her mother, but she gradually grew to love him since he reared her for ten years and taught her how to fight.

Not only did she want to overcome Doflamingo in the Mera Mera no Mi, but she also wanted to realize her dream of living together with a Soldier. He encouraged her with some remarks so she may strive to win the competition. Even if it means risking his life, he swears to do all in his power to keep her safe. Rebecca is as committed to defending him. Rebecca sobbed happily as she recalled her father as soon as Kyros assumed his human form once more. After meeting each other for the first time in ten years, Kyros intervened to save Rebecca from being killed by Diamante. Rebecca wept with pleasure at the prospect of seeing her father again, and Kyros assured her that she didn't need to fight since he would take care of the situation for her.

She was particularly concerned for him when Diamante's clever actions caused him to be shot in the leg. Kyros stopped as she was about to ruin her hands after carrying on her mother's legacy because he didn't want her to be upset with Diamante for his deeds. In order to save Rebecca the pain of being the kid of a former criminal, Kyros shared the rumor that Rebecca was the daughter of a distant royal after Doflamingo was vanquished. The moment he tried to leave Dressrosa, Rebecca confronted him and said that no matter what he had done in the past, he was still her father. She then joyfully hugged him and invited him to move in with her. She held his hand and mocked him as he sobbed with excitement as the Straw Hats left Dressrosa, though he denied it.

Scarlett

Kyros' wife Scarlett, whom he loved, passed away. She had already expressed her first skepticism about his appointment to the captain of the guards and even declared her desire to be alone with him. This changed when she fell in love with Kyros after he protected her from a pirate kidnapping attempt. Despite her affection, he was still hesitant to talk to her because of his criminal history. The Riku family staged Scarlett's demise so she could be with him in order to prevent any potential embarrassment of a felon dating a princess. She was pleased to live a simple life with Kyros and their daughter Rebecca after leaving her life as a princess behind.

Kyros is incredibly sorry that he was unable to save her on the day of her passing. He was horrified not only by his wife's passing but also by the fact that she had no recollection of him and that, as a result of his transformation into a toy, he was unable to feel the warmth of her dying body. He committed himself to defending Rebecca when she passed away, and he would give his life to ensure her protection. Kyros made it clear that he dislikes it when people make fun of the fact that he killed his wife by violently attacking Diamante. By beating Diamante in their duel, Kyros took revenge on Scarlett.

Riku Doldo III

Even after Kyros assaulted him during their first encounter, Doldo provided him with kindness despite the fact that Kyros was a known murderer. Kyros was first reserved but ultimately warmed up to him. He also admired King Riku so much that he let his guard down, which led to his suffering a brain injury. Doldo urged Kyros to leave the Colosseum and begin a new life after fighting Kyros in the arena as Ricky. As a result of Kyros's marriage to Scarlett, Doldo's eldest daughter, the two finally became in-laws. Doldo supported this relationship, helping to fabricate Scarlett's demise so they could cohabitate without embarrassment, and he would occasionally pay a visit to his family. Due to his intense allegiance to Doldo, Kyros instantly accused Doflamingo of a crime since he didn't think this kind of King would ever assault his subjects, even when witnesses said otherwise.

In order to save Doldo, Kyros also gave up his own limb, but as a result, he was transformed into a toy and Doldo lost all memory of him. Years after Doflamingo had deposed Doldo, Kyros planned an attack against the Warlord and worked to restore Doldo's honor. Kyros and Doldo had a sad reunion after he transformed back into his natural form. Doldo apologized for not recognizing him 10 years prior, and for keeping him waiting so long. For Doldo's sake, Kyros also intended to kill Doflamingo. When Pica questioned Kyros about what Doldo meant to him, Kyros replied that Doldo was his benefactor and that giving his leg in sacrifice was one of his means of making restitution. In addition, Kyros declared that Riku would retake the kingdom when Doflamingo was defeated.

Viola

Due to Kyros' marriage to Viola's sister Scarlett, she is now his in-law. She used to be able to see through his true character owing to her Devil Fruit talent, hence she did not previously harbor the same mistrust as Scarlett had of him. He clearly respects her because of the way he addresses her. She reciprocates such sentiments even if his transformation into a toy made her entirely forget about his original identity and their connection, as Kyros and the dwarves reared and treasured her niece Rebecca instead of her sister. Viola cried with happiness when Kyros assumed his human form as fond memories of her brother-in-law returned.

Franky

Due to their shared enemy, Doflamingo, the soldier has gotten to know Franky. Due to the toy soldier's knowledge of the plant that Franky was looking for, Franky consented to accompany him into Dressrosa and assist him in carrying out his plan to set the industrial employees free. Franky was more than willing to aid the soldier in achieving his goals for rebellion after learning of Doflamingo's atrocities. This was especially true after he realized that it was his alliance that had given Kyros' rebellion false hope that Doflamingo would leave the Warlord, prompting them to decide to launch a kamikaze attack.

Monkey D. Luffy

Kyros instantly warmed up to Luffy and teamed up with him to defend the kingdom since they both wanted to bring down Doflamingo. Furthermore, despite being a pirate, Kyros believes Luffy when he mentions that he is also an outlaw during their first encounter. He calls him "Luffyland" and helped him in his mission to get rid of Doflamingo. Kyros praised the Straw Hats for protecting Dressrosa after Luffy fought Doflamingo and provided them with cover before the marines tried to take them. Luffy then returned Kyros' daughter to him so the two of them could live together.

Dwarves

The dwarves and Kyros are allies in the battle to defeat the Donquixote Pirates. The dwarves recognize him for who he really is, despite the fact that his human identity has almost totally been lost outside of the monument. By being reluctant to leave the Dwarves when battling Gladius, Kyros has demonstrated his regard and deep concern for them. The dwarves were astounded to see Kyros as he emerged in human form and gave them the command to tend to the injured. Kyros thanked them for carrying out their task effectively and dispersed the army once Doflamingo was defeated. The dwarves later built a new monument in Kyros' honor to recognize his status as an island hero.

Donquixote Doflamingo

Donquixote Doflamingo, who not only usurped the kingdom by defaming the Riku Royal Family but also ordered a subordinate to convert him and several other residents into toys, is the target of Kyros' ferocious resentment. Having heard of Kyros' notoriety, Doflamingo initially wanted him to serve him, but he refused to spare anybody connected with the Riku Family, even his wife and daughter. Despite Doflamingo being a formidable adversary, Kyros was adamant about overthrowing him and reversing the disasters he had brought about for Dressrosa.

Kyros and his fellow rebels made the decision to launch a decisive assault on the Warlord after the latter fabricated the news of his retirement. Kyros quickly beheaded what he assumed to be Doflamingo after becoming his human form. Kyros chased Doflamingo and joined Luffy and his supporters in the fight when his first attempt to kill him failed and he moved to Flower Hill.

Diamante

Kyros has a burning desire to kill Diamante with his bare hands because of the way he killed Scarlett and attempted to kill his daughter. When Diamante attempted to kill Rebecca, Kyros stepped in and said he would not let Diamante steal another family member. Diamante engaged in a violent fight with Kyros, taunting him after realizing he was the toy soldier who had lamented Scarlett's passing and used unfair strategies including shooting Kyros in the knee and attempting to murder Rebecca. Kyros overcame every challenge and indecency with the help of his rage to defeat Diamante. Despite promising to murder him, Kyros chose to let the Marines take Diamante into custody rather than attempt to kill him.

Sugar

Although there is no evidence of a conversation between the two, Kyros has nothing but utter contempt for the female Special Officer for stripping Dressrosa's memory and humanity from him and the other toys. He makes her defeat one of the main goals of the operation while organizing the revolt to remove the Heavenly Demon.

Dressrosa Citizens

Kyros was initially a very disliked gladiator because of his reputation as a killer and a felon. Every time he won, the audience would yell in protest and call for his execution, which Kyros took very personally. However, the public's opinion of him improved after he spent several years in the Colosseum. He was considered a legend once he had won 3000 games. Kyros was practically forgotten after becoming a toy. Even though it was to save Rebecca, Kyros broke the law by entering a human residence while he was still a toy, making him a criminal. The townsfolk did not hesitate to attack Kyros during Doflamingo's "birdcage" game in order to capture him for Doflamingo, even after he turned human once more and everyone remembered him.

However, they made an effort to reason with him by reminding him that their lives and the lives of their loved ones were in danger. Kyros did break through them, but he hesitated because he understood their desire to guard their most prized possessions. Any remaining hatred the island had towards Doflamingo vanished completely after his loss since many of them backed his daughter's decision to live with him. They were thankful to Luffy for bringing them together even though they were aware that Scarlett faked her death in order to marry him and that he was Rebecca's father. Additionally, they honor him as one of Dressrosa's heroes by carving a new statue for Kyros in recognition of his contribution to the downfall of Doflamingo.
