Marguerite, Aphelandra, and Sweet Pea found Monkey D. Luffy after suffering from a fungus that started to spread all over his body. The three ladies, who took him for a lady, helped him get rid of the mushrooms until there was just "one" left and Elder Nyon realized Luffy was a man after realizing the mask would not come off. Marguerite gave Luffy new garments that were identical to his old ones but had a floral design sewn into the shirt when he woke up. Luffy tried to get away as the Kuja threatened to murder him, but he quickly realized that the Vivre Card he needed to locate Silvers Rayleigh was still in his old clothes. He immediately knew Marguerite as the maker of his new clothing and dragged her into the forest with him to demand that they return it.
Marguerite, Aphelandra, and Sweet Pea stood up for Luffy and tried to defend him when he accidentally ran into Hancock and was sent to the arena to battle to the death. Hancock used her Devil Fruit abilities to turn the trio into stone, which increased Luffy's anger. Luffy set the petrified bodies away before fighting the sisters in an effort to save them while he looked for a means to bring her back to normal. Midway through the fight, Boa Sandersonia took Marguerite by the tail with the intention of crushing her to get revenge on Luffy after Boa Marigold said that Hancock would still want more than just Luffy's death. Sandersonia was able to be stopped by Luffy using Haoshoku Haki, rescuing Marguerite.
Luffy requested that Marguerite and the others return to normal after defeating the Boa sisters since he did not think it was fair for them to have to go through suffering only for saving him. They thanked him on the way for protecting her petrified body during the arena fight. Elder Nyon received the news of Ace's death and heard Luffy's strong desire to find him. Luffy personally thanked Marguerite and her companions for saving him and promised them he would return with his crew.
When Luffy returned, Marguerite and the other Kuja were overjoyed. She told the other Kujas that when Luffy recovered, they had to give him a send-off. She then said with joy that she would sew more simple clothes for Luffy.
When Byrnndi World attacked Rusukaina and abducted Sandersonia and Marigold, Marguerite tried to fight them. Later, when the Kuja Pirates left to rescue the two Gorgon Sisters, she went with them. She and the other Kuja Pirates remained on board the ship, however, as Hancock and Luffy proceeded to battle on the other ship.
After two years of training, Marguerite became a member of the Kuja Pirates and welcomed Luffy to Rusukaina. She let Luffy know that the Kujas were prepared to return with him to the Sabaody Archipelago.
After the Warlords of the Sea system was abolished, Marguerite was there in Hancock's royal chamber while a Marine fleet approached Amazon Lily.
Marguerite got caught in a fight with S-Snake during the attack on Amazon Lily together with Sweet Pea. Rayleigh and Shakky managed to save Marguerite and Kuja.
Marguerite seems to have had an interest in men ever since she saw Luffy. She despised men and was naive about them, so she took everything Luffy said literally. She views males as "useless" in light of Luffy's opinions, but she also admitted that if she spent too much time with him, she may develop feelings for him and might end up hitting him to stop herself. She also appeared to respect Boa Hancock and expressed no hatred for Hancock having petrified her. Marguerite showed her honesty when she attempted to take on the entire blame for Luffy's arrival on Amazon Lily, which prompted Sweet Pea and Aphelandra to try to bear the same blame with her.
Marguerite is tall, has long, thin legs, short, wild blonde hair, and a slim, curvy body. She is seen wearing a white cloak with a bikini top and miniskirt made of animal skin and wearing a black and green striped snake with boots.
Marguerite is a skilled seamstress which can be seen when she was able to precisely copy Luffy's old vest and shorts. She has swimming skills as well, as seen when she saved Luffy from drowning. After the two-year time skip, Marguerite becomes strong enough to join the crew.
Marguerite can use Haki. She can channel Busoshoku Haki through her arrows.
Marguerite fires arrows at her target with the use of a snake that can transform into a bow, like the majority of other Kuja fighters.
Marguerite is not only an anime character but is also a video game character and in a show.
