During the Levely Arc, Moda pleaded with Peachbeard not to steal from her kingdom, as they had to offer their money to the World Nobles. Peachbeard struck her, but Belo Betty saved her and inspired the townspeople. With newfound strength, Moda defeated Peachbeard.
After her kingdom's destruction, Moda joined the Revolutionary Army with other survivors.
Moda is a kind and caring person. She rescued Ace and looked after him when he was in need. She cares deeply for her parents. She is also fearful of the World Nobles, which shows that she's sensitive to the dangers in her world.
Moda is a young woman with shoulder-length blonde hair (light brown in the manga) that's partly covered by a white bandanna. She has light blue eyes and typically wears a long red and pink skirt with an intricate pattern, a light blue shirt, and dark blue boots.
After the timeskip, Moda looks more like an adult woman with longer hair. She still wears a bandanna, but it now has a cow pattern. Her outfit includes a long-sleeved blouse, long brown boots, and one of her teeth is chipped.
Moda is not a skilled fighter, but with Betty's help, her hidden abilities emerged. She managed to defeat Peachbeard, a pirate captain with a bounty of Beli 52,000,000, using only one strike from a stick.
"Moda" means "fashion" in several Latin, Slavic, and other languages.
In Japanese, "Moda" could be a pun on the sound cows make, "moh."
