Ocean's Navel in One Piece

Ocean's Navel has a huge pit of water that flows in it but yet the bottom of this pit is dry. There is also a village in Ocean's Navel where the citizens live by the coast and there is also a ship graveyard that is full of destroyed ships.

At the end of the village, there is a huge mountain that contains all the treasures of Ocean's Navel.

The people of Ocean's Navel lived peacefully until Joke and his crew came and destroyed everything. After destroying the village Joke and his crew went to the Mountain of God, where all the Ocean's Navel treasure was kept and they thought that it would make all of their dreams come true.

But when they reached the treasure room, Joke’s crew members betrayed him and also in the process awakened the treasure’s guard that kept the islanders off for a long time.

When the Straw Hats arrived on the island and while searching for the treasure, killed the treasure guards which revived Captain Joke’s body.

Captain Joke was the captain of a crew before they reached Ocean's Navel. He was known to be very greedy and only wanted to acquire treasures. He is also a master of deception as he managed to trick the Straw Hats crew.

Hamu

Hamu is an orphan whose mother was killed by Joke. he lives in Ocean's Navel. After his mother’s death, Meroie started looking after him.

Meroie

Meroie is Hamu’s guardian. She has a caring nature and really admires when people are kind and nice to each other.
