Poripori Island is one of the 34 islands surrounding Totto Land. Not a lot is known about its history. Mame Mame Town, also known as Beany-Bean Town in Viz English, is the only known city situated on Poripori Island.

It is stated that, according to the current timeline, Poripori Island became a part of Big Mom's territory less than 62 years ago. Charlotte Linlin, aka Big Mom, is said to have modified the appearance of the island with her Soru Soru no Mi (Soul-Soul Fruit) and Streusen's Kuku Kuku no Mi (Cook-Cook Fruit) devil fruit powers and appointed Charlotte Daifuku, her 4th child, the Minister of Beans, in charge of the island.

In the Whole Cake Island Arc, the citizens of Poripori Island wondered whether the cake would effectively calm the Yonko and end her rampage as Big Mom was about to eat the wedding cake.

The information regarding the inhabitants of Poripori Island has yet to be made available. Big Mom Pirates are the only known affiliates.
