Previously, Shakuyaku was the commander of the Kuja Pirates and the Empress of the Amazon Lily. However, 42 years ago, he put up his life as a pirate to operate a pub. She eventually had Love Sickness, partnered with Silvers Rayleigh, and got married to him.
After Fisher Tiger freed the Gorgon Sisters from the World Nobles, Shakuyaku, Rayleigh, and Nyon defended the sisters on the Sabaody Archipelago. After Gold Lion Shiki made his getaway, Hatchan went to Shakky's pub. Shakky invited Hatchan to meet Rayleigh and gave him a drink.
Six months had passed since Hatchan led the Straw Hat Pirates to meet Rayleigh at Shakky's pub after Rayleigh had vanished from sight. She told Luffy about the other notable pirates who had landed on the island at the same time as him when they first met. Then she said that Rayleigh may be in Sabaody Park. Rayleigh and the rest of the Straw Hat gang met in Shakky's pub following their return from the Human Auctioning House, where they had discovered Rayleigh.
Shakky declared that she was a fan of Luffy after Luffy rejected simple information from One Piece. As the Straw Hats left, she attended to the injured Hatchan, Camie, and Pappag. She was unaware that Bartholomew Kuma had transported the Straw Hats from the Sabaody Archipelago to other places, as were Camie, Pappag, and Hatchan.
Camie started to worry about Straw Hats' safety as time went on and they had not been heard from since their previous sighting. Shakuyaku, on the other hand, pointed out that the Straw Hats have little chance of escaping a Marine Admiral and that the world is slowly changing, so in order to survive, they must grasp onto "the waves" that will eventually wash it away. Pappag and Hatchan were certain that everything would be okay.
After learning of Luffy's situation during the Marineford Summit War, she informs Rayleigh that, in the hypothetical scenario where she were Boa Hancock, she would conceal Luffy from the Marines on Amazon Lily. She reappears alongside Hatchan, Camie, Pappag, and the Rosy Life Riders on the Thousand Sunny.
Shakky is asked by Camie if the Straw Hats will use the vivre cards to get back together. She goes on to say that until the Straw Hats return, the Thousand Sunny must be protected. Shakky, who is ignorant that the Warlord of the Sea has lost his free will and turned into a weapon of the World Government, advises everyone not to worry when Kuma comes.
Shakuyaku told Sanji which of the Straw Hats had made it to the island previously. She let Brook know about the scenario with the Marines and the Fake Straw Hat Crew via Den-Den Mushi. Then she and Rayleigh headed to the Thousand Sunny. There, she told the Straw Hats that Brook would shortly be coming aboard the ship and about the Marines' operations on the islands.
She continued by saying that Luffy was the only one they were not in communication with and that everyone needed to move quickly since the Marines were closing up on them. After that, she handed them Rayleigh's Vivre Card and informed them that Luffy was counting on it and would be following it. Shakky saw the Straw Hats set sail towards Fish-Man Island after they eventually got together.
Shakky took Rayleigh to Amazon Lily following the abolition of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, where he drove out the Blackbeard Pirates and Marines that had overrun the island.
A few weeks following the end of the attack on Amazon Lily, Shakky met with Rayleigh and the island's leaders to talk about the current state of affairs and the Marines' brand-new Seraphim weaponry.
Shakky is very knowledgeable and appears to be a lifelong learner, especially when it comes to other pirates. Because she firmly thinks that information is power, she also reads newspapers in a way that may be seen as obsessive. It was she who told Luffy about the other nine pirates whose bounty exceeded one hundred million.
She rarely appears without a cigarette. Shakky is also incredibly observant; even without knowing that Hancock had fallen in love with Luffy, she was able to predict Hancock and Luffy's Impel Down infiltration strategy.
She also seemed determined to hide her age; when Luffy found that she had given up being a pirate forty years prior, he asked her how old she was. She quickly shifted the topic, however, mentioning that Luffy's grandfather had been pursued her.
After spending some time with Luffy, she declares that she is pleased by him and that she wants him to succeed Gol D. Roger as the Pirate King, especially because she knows that Luffy and Roger are similar.
Shakky is a tall, somewhat slender woman with short black hair that has two tufts that point upward. She is usually seen smoking a cigarette. She is older, yet she looks extremely young. She usually wears a black jacket with pink lines down the sleeves and a collar with cuffs that are like wings over a pink V-neck t-shirt that shows her stomach and has a black spider.
She also had on a belt with a white cardigan wrapped around it, trousers with a giraffe-like design, and a yellow necklace made of beads. She has painted nails and is also wearing white sneakers.
Shakuyaku is one of the strongest Kuja since she was formerly the Empress of the Amazon Lily. She claims to have escaped being pursued by Garp, who is renowned for being among the toughest Marines, and she can easily beat up three larger-than-her pirates to a bloody pulp before tossing them out.
Shakky is constantly knowledgeable and up-to-date as she can provide the Straw Hats with whatever knowledge they want, including details regarding the Eleven Supernovas. She consistently keeps up with the news from the daily newspaper, and she is capable of making judgments based on the way the media responds to pirate movements.
Shakuyaku, like all Kuja, is capable of using Haki. She was the captain of the Kuja Pirates and the previous empress of Amazon Lily.
Rayleigh is Shakky's spouse and business partner. She knew what Rayleigh was capable of, so she wasn't concerned when he vanished for the six months before her introduction. Shakky thought that Rayleigh may be at Sabaody Park, where the Straw Hats might find her.
He and the rest of the Straw Hat crew met at Shakky's tavern following the Straw Hat Pirates' return from the Human Auctioning House, where they discovered Rayleigh. Rayleigh understands her personality and has complete faith in her. After the war, Rayleigh was able to locate Luffy using her skills.
Hatchan is one of the only individuals Shakky has made an exception for, paying outrageous rates for goods in her rip-off bar. Hatchan is well connected with Shakky.
Shakky is on board with the crew. When they got to the Sabaody Archipelago, she informed them about Rayleigh and allowed them to stay at her pub. Shakky showed Luffy her interest in them by telling him about her relationship with his grandpa in the past and then declaring her support for him when she found out about his plans to become Pirate King.
Lily Shakky, helped by giving the Gorgon Sisters with shelter during their escape from the World Nobles alongside Gloriosa and Rayleigh. She seemed to be sure of her feelings for Luffy and accurately predicted that Hancock would fall in love with Luffy.
Hancock was rescued by her and Rayleigh from both the Blackbeard Pirates and the Marines. She informed Hancock that the Marines' technical advances made the Calm Belt unsafe.
Shakky's predecessor as the Empress of the Amazon Lily, Gloriosa, is close friends with both Rayleigh and her. Gloriosa hid the Gorgon Sisters upon their escape from the World Nobles and lived with Rayleigh and Shakky on the Sabaody Archipelago until she returned to Amazon Lily. Gloriosa was spared death by Shakky and Rayleigh after Hancock lost her status as a Warlord.
After the time skip, Duval and his gang are seen in Shakky's Rip-off Bar, where they are shown with bandages and IVs.
It is known that more than 42 years ago when Shakky was a pirate, the legendary marine pursued her. She does not appear to harbor hatred towards him despite their mistrust, as seen by her telling his grandchild about their previous interactions without expressing any malice.
