However, it is stated that less than 62 years ago, in the current timeline, Unique Island became part of Big Mom’s territory, and Charlotte Praline was appointed as its Minister of Design. Additionally, Fancy Town is the only known town located on Unique Island.

In the Whole Cake Island Arc, Charlotte Praline, who had been politically wed into the Fishmen crew through her marriage to the crew's first mate, Aladine, decided to side with her husband and his crewmates even though it meant going against her mother, Big Mom.

She willingly chose to resign from her position as the Minister of Unique Island in favor of leaving with them after Jinbe, also known as the First Son of the Sea, informed his crew of his intentions to leave the Big Mom Pirates, and they steadfastly supported their leader's decision.
