Monet in One Piece

Past

Monet and her sister Sugar lived in a terrible environment when they were young. Donquixote Doflamingo rescued Monet and Sugar when they were 9 and 17 years old. The sisters received their Devil Fruits after deciding to abandon their previous life to become part of the Donquixote Family. Monet had a job in the royal palace before Doflamingo arrived at Dressrosa. Monet held Viola captive and unlocked the gates of the royal palace during the invasion, allowing the Donquixote Pirates' soldiers to enter. Later, Doflamingo sent Monet to Punk Hazard to keep an eye on Caesar Clown. Monet acted as an adult to the kids as they showed up for Caesar's tests, rewarding them with NHC10 chocolates.

Punk Hazard Arc

Usopp was the first one who spotted Monet but before the others could spot her, she vanished. She afterward came back after flying to the ice side of the island and spoke with someone using Den Den Mushi. She was made aware of the four trespassers who were inside the research site. She later reappeared inside the building, telling Caesar about the Straw Hat Pirates and reading about their return in the newspaper. Caesar praised Monet's attentiveness when she pointed out to him that the Straw Hat crew's current bounties might need to be revised. When she asked Caesar whether one of his experiments had failed after watching him do it, he said that he never fails.

Monet told Caesar of Law's connection to Luffy at the Sabaody Archipelago and Marineford while Law and Caesar talked about the Straw Hats. Later, when a Den Den Mushi rang, Caesar instructed Monet to ignore it since he didn't think it was necessary to answer. Monet informed Law beforehand that Caesar was no longer present when he left the building. Law was made unconscious by Vergo, who then revealed to him why he shouldn't trust Caesar and this is what led Monet to be sent undercover to Punk Hazard. Later, she saw Luffy and the others imprisoned within the research center in a Seastone cage. She afterward reported to Caesar that all of his orders had been carried out.

Caesar was told that the Straw Hats and their friends were at the base as Monet spotted them. Although Vergo would be terrified, according to Monet, Caesar did not care about the outcome. Later, she saw Caesar and Luffy's rematch. The Straw Hat captain was about to unleash an attack to end the battle when Monet used her Devil Fruit power to block him and build a wall to defend Caesar. She discovered Law's actual motives after hearing the broadcast of his actions in the room where the SAD was created. Doflamingo eventually got in touch with her and instructed her to come back to Dressrosa after Baby 5 and Buffalo came and took care of everything.

She then caused a snowstorm to knock Nami and Chopper out of action and wounded Robin to keep her from putting an end to the out-of-hand kids. When Robin, Nami, and Chopper went to pursue the kids, Monet tried to attack them but Zoro blocked her. Monet changed into a demonic form and caught Nami and Chopper. While Monet and Zoro were engaged in combat in the Biscuits Room, Sanji, Tashigi, and the G-5 Marines appeared. Monet changed back into her demonic form after seeing they were also trying to get the kids. Then Tashigi struck her with a Haki-infused attack, cutting her. She decided to remain and fight Monet.

While Tashigi and Zoro were arguing, Monet attempted to sneak attack Tashigi and was successful. She attempted to rip off her shoulder, but Tashigi grabbed hold of her and stopped her. Zoro stabbed Monet in the face, forcing her to release Tashigi. However, Monet was able to survive since Zoro did not incorporate Haki into the attack. Monet, who had mostly recovered, tried to stab Zoro in the back with her ice picks as he was walking away, but Tashigi immediately gave the final blow. Zoro and Tashigi escaped the Biscuits Room when the noxious gas began to spread there, leaving Monet behind.

After regaining consciousness, she was able to go and find another part of the building. In the midst of the lab's falling wreckage, she apologized to Joker for her error and made the choice to use the last weapon to kill everyone on the island and destroy the whole island. Monet heard an explosion coming from the SAD room. She said goodbye to Doflamingo and told him that he would become the Pirate King as she prepared to kill herself. But before she could, Caesar stabbed her in the heart, thinking it was Smoker's since Law had secretly given Caesar Monet's heart rather than Smoker's.

Monet seemed to have a rather casual demeanor. Monet was also shown to be quite diligent. She will use strategies to gain an edge over her enemies. She has a confident attitude when she is in control of the situation, which causes her to underestimate her rivals. Monet was a highly calm, level-headed person and is also a great liar. She was also flirty which can be seen when she is with Law. It has been shown that Monet was quite cruel and seemed to like causing pain to others. Even when her life was in danger, Monet showed little care and even made fun of the situation. When in anger, Monet could be absolutely terrifying. When the Straw Hat Pirates and the Marines tried to stop the kids, Monet was furious at them for attempting to undo all of her hard work.

Monet has white feathered wings that fade into light green towards the edges. She has talons instead of feet and a tail. She has longer legs than an average human. She has long wavy light green hair with brown eyes. She wears a green crop tank top which has ‘Happy’ written on it with yellow cut-off pants with orange stripes. She also has a Baby Den Den Mushi which is strapped to her belt. As her vision is not that great, she wears glasses that have circles in a ripple pattern on the lenses. As a child, Monet wore a white tank top with black tops and black pants that went down to her knees with standard glasses.

As Monet is a Harpy, she has the ability to fly. She was able to carry out difficult tasks with ease. She could slice enemies with her talons as well. Monet proved to be a skilled researcher and fairly observant as well. Monet was skilled in direct combat and was able to battle Luffy and then Zoro without much problems.

Devil Fruit

The Yuki Yuki no Mi is a Logia-Type Devil Fruit. This devil fruit allows the user to create, control, and transform into snow at will. This fruit was eaten by Monet, but after her death, it was put back into circulation. This allows the user to turn themselves into the snow. They have extreme resistance to cold. Although this devil fruit and the Hie Hie no Mi are pretty similar, the latter is certainly superior to the former. The user's snow can be compressed and isn't constantly in a solid state, and they can't immediately freeze their target, which is how they are different from each other. Physical attacks can simply pass through without harming the user.

Even though physical attacks pass through the user, they can be weakened by using Busoshoku Haki, Seastone, and heat. As a Logia user, Monet has the ability to transform herself into snow, allowing attacks to flow through her or allowing her to float. She can also control snow density to create challenges. Although she may simply get through them, these obstacles are incredibly difficult to remove. She can also weaken someone by hugging them as her body is extremely cold at all times. She has the ability to change into snow and hide during snowfall. Additionally, she has the ability to create enormous snowstorms, which she uses to weaken her opponents by using the cold.

Weapons

Monet is seen using a pair of gigantic ice picks. She also uses swords and is seen using them in a fight against Zoro.

Sugar

When Monet was 17 years old and Sugar was 9 years old, Doflamingo rescued the two sisters from an awful situation. The relationship between Sugar and Monet is unknown, and it's unclear whether Sugar was aware of Monet's death.

Donquixote Doflamingo

Donquixote Doflamingo was Monet’s commander. He was also the one who saved Monet and Sugar from the hostile environment they had to suffer. She is ready to give her life to him. She believed that he was the one chosen to be the Pirate King. Monet was warned by Doflamingo that he would kill her if she let anything terrible happen to Caesar, which shows that he saw her as disposable, but he still valued her skills enough to send her to Punk Hazard as a spy to keep tabs on Caesar. Doflamingo was sad when Monet passed away.

Caesar Clown

Caesar and Monet have a strong relationship, and she knew his real nature. He was a source of concern for Doflamingo, and he told Monet to infiltrate Caesar's organization on Punk Hazard. She was also in charge of keeping Caesar safe from any threats to his life. She prevented Caesar from being taken hostage by Luffy and prevented the Straw Hats and the G-5 Marines from rescuing the kids.

Kidnapped Children

The kidnapped kids who were used as experimental subjects appeared to be treated well by Monet. Some of the kids began to think of her as a mother since she was so approachable. The only exception to this was Mocha, who turned on Monet after seeing that they were all being deceived. Actually, Monet was working with Caesar and considered the kids to be nothing more than guinea pigs.

Viola

Despite the fact that they were crewmates, Viola had nothing but contempt for the snowwoman because of her work as a spy.

Trafalgar D. Law

Trafalgar Law seemed to have a playful attitude towards Monet because she questioned whether he was asking her out on a date when he invited her to accompany him because her skills were useful. In the end, Law is indirectly responsible for Monet's passing since he gave her heart to Caesar which he thought belonged to Smoker. Law saw this as his "reward" for doing "good" by giving Monet's heart back to Caesar.
