When Big Mom invited Morgans to her tea party, during Pudding and Sanji’s wedding, he was delighted to accept the offer and eager to write about the occasion for the newspaper. Morgans had a conversation with Vinsmoke Judge during the tea party. The wedding ceremony then started, and he joined in the fun. Morgans were in awe of the wedding cake and saw Monkey D. Luffy spring from the wedding cake during the ceremony, and Morgans fled after the explosion.
Morgans realized that Big Mom had the ability to steal the souls of people who feared her. The idea of breaking the news of Jinbe's decision to defect from Big Mom's crew and join the Straw Hat Pirates made Morgans thrilled. Morgans were delighted when the Big Mom Pirates confessed their betrayal of the Vinsmoke Family.
Morgans became inert as a result of having to cover his ears when Luffy triggered Big Mom's scream. Stussy and Morgans gazed in horror as the chest exploded at the base of the Whole Cake Chateau. The Chateau collapsed as a result of the explosion, and Morgans gleefully took photographs while simultaneously forgetting that he was falling. Despite the fall, Morgans lived and was unharmed.
Morgans remarked that it would be incredible if Luffy managed to overcome the little chance of escape. Morgans and Stussy escaped from Whole Cake Island as the commotion in Totto Land grew worse. Morgans encouraged the Straw Hats to flee as he and Stussy rode in a hot air balloon before telling Stussy he thought the future Pirate King would be from the Worst Generation.
Morgans published an article describing Luffy's adventures after the Straw Hats had left Totto Land, claiming that he would be the next Emperor and that he had planned the murder attempt on Big Mom. Later, he visited the Red Line's Red Port to meet the royals who would be attending the Levely. Morgans were taken aback by Shirahoshi's beauty.
Morgans was giving instructions to his staff at the World Economic News offices on how to format the top-page scoop. A letter from the World Government had an attachment with bribe money for Morgans to conceal a particular incident. Since the event was such a big scoop, Morgans gave Attach the order to return the funds.
The person who had been pretending to be Attach until this point tore off their face mask and aimed a revolver at Morgans. The person turned out to be a Cypher Pol member. Morgans did not back down from any threats and instead knocked the agent unconscious. He instructed his staff to go because he was concerned about how the Cypher Pol had penetrated his company.
Later, Wapol and Nefertari Vivi were taken in by Morgans to keep them hidden from the World Government. Morgans was given information about what happened when the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance raided Onigashima, but his communication was cut off when the Cypher Pol agents were ambushed by the Big Mom Pirates.
Morgans instructed his reporters to come up with a headline claiming that Emperor Luffy had kidnapped Vegapunk on Egghead and was waging all-out war against the Marines in order please the World Government and receive a monetary award. This title frustrated Vivi, but Morgans responded that entertainment was what mattered, not accuracy.
Major incidents give Morgans the thrill. In spite of the commotion and risk that the chance brings, he would really maintain his composure to grab any huge scoop that presented itself. Despite expressing close ties to the Germa, Morgans showed little care for their safety.
When the Big Mom Pirates announced their shrewd plan to kill Germa's royal family, Morgans considered the development to be interesting. He has shown himself to be a dishonest person as while Big Mom was dealing with her rivals, Morgans sought to peep inside the Tamatebako and were caught listening in on the conversations with Du Feld and Stussy.
He may also be prone to having his personal prejudices influenced as seen by the fact that he exaggerated Luffy's victories over Big Mom out of respect and adoration for the pirate. It is clear that Morgans doesn't care if the information he publishes in the newspaper is accurate or not and sees it as a source of pleasure. Morgans also has a thing for beautiful ladies.
Morgans looks like a really tall albatross hybrid with small eyes and a large beak due to his devil fruit. His entire body is covered with white feathers. He has a large tail and wings. He wears a blue top hat with a large striped feather, a blue button-down shirt with a yellow bow on the top, and red and white checkered pants with a dark cape and shoes.
As Morgans is the boss of the Underworld, he has a huge degree of power. He has access to information about things that are not seen by most people. He is not seen fighting a lot but does have the necessary fighting skills. He has great willpower too, as he was able to stand against Big Mom’s Haoshoku Haki.
Morgans ate the Tori Tori no Mi Model: Albatross, which is a Zoan-type Devil Fruit which allows him to transform into an albatross.
Morgans had a close relationship with Germa 66. The Vinsmoke Family was the target of the Big Mom Pirates' deception, but Morgans showed no remorse for them and instead rejoiced at the turn of events.
As Luffy is known for being a notorious troublemaker and a member of the Worst Generation, Morgans has expressed a keen interest in him. Morgans was eager to draw attention to Luffy's struggles at the Tea Party. Following the Totto Land event, Morgans proclaimed Luffy to be the "Fifth Emperor" globally.
Morgans and Stussy have often helped one another in the past. Given their respective privileged positions for information gathering. Stussy and Morgans have been trading sensitive information for some time so that Stussy can see all of the World Economy paper's reports and Morgans can receive first access to exclusive scoops.
One of the attendees at Big Mom's tea party was Morgans. But when Morgans told Luffy about Big Mom's "defeat," she swore revenge against him.
The relationship between Morgans and the government does not seem to be positive. He declined to take their offer of payment in exchange for keeping a certain Levely incident a secret. He immediately beat up the threat from a Cypher Pol operative and instructed his staff to relocate their headquarters to avoid government punishment.
He persisted in disobeying the Government's directives by utilizing a picture of Luffy in his awakened state for the reward poster that had not been authorized by the Five Elders. As long as they give him a significant payoff, he is prepared to alter the news concerning certain events that might harm the World Government's reputation.
Morgans do not only appear in the anime but is also a video game character in the following game:
