History

Marineford Arc

Namur and the other Whitebeard Pirates traveled to Marineford to save Portgas D. Ace from being executed. He was one of the commanders that guided Monkey D. Luffy to the execution platform during the Summit War of Marineford, against Admiral Kizaru's objections. Namur joined the dash into the square when Little Oars Jr. took the Moby Dick past the Encircling Wall.

Namur questioned what Blackbeard was doing with Whitebeard's body after the Blackbeard Pirates mercilessly killed him. In response to Sengoku's proclamation and Shanks' arrival, Namur and the rest of Whitebeard's crew left. At an undisclosed location in the New World, he attended Whitebeard and Ace's burial together with the rest of the crew.

The surviving members of the Whitebeard Pirates engaged the Blackbeard Pirates in battle a year after the battle at Marineford, but were finally defeated. After being defeated, they fled and haven't been seen since.

Namur is very loyal to the Whitebeard Pirates and is always ready to give his life for his crew.

Appearance

Namur is a shark Fishman. He has shark-like teeth that come out of his mouth from his lower jaw with three small teeth on each side. He has three pairs of gills on his neck. He is short and rotund, and his hair is spiky.

He has the number ‘8’ tattooed on the left side of his neck to represent the division that he leads. He is seen wearing a white t-shirt with sky blue sleeves with the start logo for the Criminal brand on his chest. He wears gray pants with a belt and does not have any footwear.

Namur’s abilities, strengths, and fighting style

As Namur is the commander of the 8th division of the Whitebeard Pirates, he has authority over low-ranking members. As he is a Fishman, he is ten times stronger than any average human and twice as strong as that when he is in water.

He is really good at martial arts and has really strong jaws to the point that he could even destroy a battle ax with his teeth.
