Rockstar in One Piece

Rockstar is a member of the Red Hair Pirates, the crew that Shanks leads. Rockstar joined the crew about two years ago. Rockstar is a very skilled swordsman and has a great amount of physical strength. Just like other members of Shank’s crew, not a lot is known about him as of yet.

History

Past

Like the rest of Shank’s crew, very little is known about Rockstar and his past. The only thing that is known about him is that he was a famous pirate in another crew before he joined the Red Hair Pirates.

Jaya Arc

During the Jaya Arc, Shanks sent Rockstar to send a message to Whitebeard, which Whitebeard tore up, just as Shanks predicted. Whitebeard insulted the fact that Shanks did not approach and talk to him himself, and instead sent a newbie. Even though Rockstar wanted to fight Whitebeard to regain his honor, Shanks told him to pull away and not make a big deal of it.

Egghead Arc

During the Egghead Arc, Rockstar alerted Shanks about Eustass Kid attacking their fleet. He asked Shanks if they should declare war on them and Shanks said that they will, in good time. Before Shanks left, he told Rockstar that he should let Kid know that they can either fight them or leave their Road Poneglyph.

Personality

Rockstar is seen to be a confident man who has a lot of pride. He is ready to fight anyone who disrespects him, like the time Whitebeard disrespected his honor. He is very loyal to his captain and has a strong sense of justice. He wants everyone to follow the rules.

Appearance

Rockstar is a tall and burly man who has dark skin and red liberty spikes on his head. He wears colorful clothes which consist of a dark-purple double-breasted coat with a light-orange, wide-collared shirt and a red foulard around his neck.

He also has a yellow slash that he ties around his waist and wears light-blue pants and brown boots. He is also seen carrying a green-hilted saber that hangs from his left hip.

Rockstar’s abilities, strengths, and fighting style

Rockstar is known to be a very heavy hitter of the Red Hair Pirates. He is also a skilled swordsman and specializes in a style called Splitting Sword. This style is where he swings his sword straight down and cuts opponents in two. He is also able to pierce his targets with a drill.
