Vinsmoke Judge in One Piece

Past

Vinsmoke Judge used to work along with Vegapink as he used to be a part of MADS. when the World Government arrested Vegapunk, Judge managed to escape and continued his research in the Germa Kingdom. He also led Germa 66 to the conquest of the Four Nations where he defeated all the four kings of the North Blue. Judge married Sora and she became the Queen on Germa Kingdom. After she gave birth to their first child Reiju, Judge told his wife that he wanted to give modifications to their children to which Sora disagreed. When the quadruplets were in her womb, Judge said that he would only give power to his sons even if it made them emotionless and forced his wife to have surgery against her pleas.

After her sons were born, Judge was really impressed with Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji when they showed their enhancements but was surprised by Sanji’s unusual behavior. When his kids were young, Judge said that he wanted to lead Germa 66 into battle and started training them. While the other children were great in their training, Judge was disappointed that Sanji was always lagging behind as his body was still human. When Judge caught Sanji cooking, he warned him that he had to pull up his socks and catch up to his siblings faster and threw the food he made out of the window, and told him to never cook a meal ever again.

Over time Judge became more convinced that Sanji would not be able to develop his enhanced abilities and decided to remove his existence by putting an iron mask on him and locking him up. He staged his death and told the Germa Kingdom that Sanji had died in an accident. Despite locking him up, Judge allowed Sanji to eat food. 3Judge was impressed by his other four children and told them that he was very proud of them and he decided to start a war in the East Blue. Later on, Judge ran into Sanji trying to escape his cell and when Sanji said that he wanted to leave the Kingdom, Judge agreed without hesitation. He told him that he will let Sanji go if he never told anyone about their relationship.

While forming the alliance with the Big Mom, Judge was hesitant in giving any of his precious son’s hand in marriage so he thought of using Sanji and decided to get him back. After Sanji got his first bounty, Judge sent the Marines and bounty hunters after Sanji but as the picture of Sanji on the wanted poster was different so they went to Duval instead.

Dressrosa Arc

During the Dressrosa Arc when Sanji’s poster showed his real face, Judge increased his bounty by 100,000,000 berries and changed the condition on his bounty from ‘Dead or Alive’ to ‘Only Alive’.

Whole Cake Island Arc

During the Whole Cake Island, Judge met Sanji and when he tried to talk to him, Sanji refused to acknowledge him as his father. When Judge saw what Sanji did to Yonji, he asked him to step outside so that they could settle this through a fight. They started to fight each other and Sanji refused to acknowledge his family. Judge was surprised to see how strong Sanji had grown and his ability to use Busoshoku Haki. Eventually, Judge defeated Sanji and while getting treated by Reiju, he told Sanji that the marriage is an alliance with the Big Mom to help conquer the North Blue. He then told Reiju to put exploding wristlets on Sanji to prevent him from escaping.

While the whole family was having breakfast, Judge saw how Sanji had attacked Niji before he could hit their Head Chef, Cosette, and said that his family stood for everything he hated. Judge threatened Sanji by showing him a picture of Zeff and said that he will have Zeff killed if he did not cooperate with the wedding. While they were on the way to Big Mom’s palace he saw Luffy, who had come to rescue Sanji, battle it out with Sanji and witnessed their fight.

After the fight, Judge said that Sanji has severed his bonds with the Straw Hats and they continued on their journey. Once they reached the place they had a meal with Big Mom and Pudding, they shared their excitement about the soon-to-be-formed alliance. After the meal, Judge told his sons how after the wedding Pudding will come to Germa to live with them to use her as leverage against Big Mom. On the day of the wedding, Judge got dressed and accompanied his family as they went to the venue. After it was said that the bride and groom were ready, they all assembled and sat together at the central table at the foot of the altar. They took part in the events of the weddings and when the vows were being said he was surprised to see the priest get shot down and an assassination attempt on Sanji.

He tried to question the events but The Vinsmoke family was held at gunpoint by the Charlotte Family. He said that they were betrayed and told Big Mom to explain herself. While Perospero was getting reading to shoot them, Sanji arrived to save them and gave them their raid suits back. After Judge and the rest of the family retreated back to Bege’s fortress, they put on their raid suits to get ready to battle.

When Judge asked Sanji why did he save them, he replied by saying that his real father aka Zeff would be disappointed in him if he didn’t help them. Not only that, Sanji officially disowned Judge as his father and told him to never see him again. Judge told him that from now on he would not interfere in his life again. Judge then charged and fought with Big Mom where she easily smashed his spear and broke his helmet. Before she could execute him, his family took him to safety. Later on, we see a bandaged Judge help the Straw Hats escape. Once the Stra Hats had left Totto Land, Germa 66 prepared to withdraw.

Vinsmoke Judge has a firm belief that royalty should be served and not serve others. He disowned Sanji because he cooked which he thinks is serving others. He passed this mentality to his other sons too and only his daughter hates his beliefs and him but she shows that she is really proud of the status and privileges.

Judge desires to have a lot of power and is really arrogant and does not hesitate to use any means to achieve his goals. He hates to show any kind of emotion like compassion or kindness and says that it only makes people weak and reason. He even modified his sound to be emotionless so that they would become more strong.

He was really angry at Sanji for helping those who are weak and thinks that it is worthless and a waste of time. He really hates Sanji for showing kindness.

Judge is very shrewd when it comes to politics and is constantly looking for ways to get the Germa Kingdom on top. He is very cautious when he is making political decisions and does not make commitments without taking the necessary precautions to avoid problems. He has great respect for the strength and the privileges that come with power.

He believes that a man should speak with his physical strength alone and flaunts his power and accomplishments. He can be hypocritical at times, even though he has emotions himself, he hates Sanji for showing kindness and also for the fact that he did not receive the same modifications as his brothers. Even though he does not like to acknowledge Sanji as his son, he would do so in front of guests and allies.

Astuteness believes that everyone should have a sense of honor. Judge can be really cruel at times like the time he locked up Sanji in a dungeon. He thinks that he has the right to oppress those who are weak but like the hypocrite that he is he shows great fear and despair when he is treated wrong.

Vinsmoke Judge is a large man who has golden hair which reached to his waist. He has a long and thin mustache that points upwards with a thin and small beard and a cleft chin. He is seen wearing a golden helmet and weird his raid suit which is a gray robe with the number 66 written on the front, an orange cape, and a belt with the number 66 on the buckle with dark gloves and boots that have jet propellers that allow him to levitate.

When he was at the tea party Judge wore a grey suit with a great shirt, white tie, trousers, and a double-breasted jacket. On top of the suit, he wore an orange, single-shoulder royal cloak clasped in front of his neck.

Vinsmoke Judge has an unusual amount of power over the Mairnes and World Government as he is able to manipulate the bounty process. He did lose all these privileges when he tried to form an alliance with Big Mom which failed, he also has authority over Germa 66 as he is their Supreme Commander which gives him a powerful military force. Judge is also a brilliant scientist who worked with Vegapunk.

He was able to find blueprints for the creation of life and used his advanced knowledge of cloning and gene manipulation techniques to come up with a way to genetically modify humans. He even used his military knowledge and made advanced weaponry to use in battle.

He has an immense amount of physical strength and great fighting skills. He has really good reflexes and is able to keep up with his enemies and defend against them. He has great levels of endurance too and can take in a lot of attacks.

Equipment

Judge has technologically advanced weapons that he uses at his disposal. He used them to make a fireproof raid suit that is equipped with boots that can produce a propulsive thrust making him jump upward and emit electricity. He has a bulletproof cape and gloves with spears in them that have concentrated electricity in them.

Busoshoku Haki

Judge is able to use Busoshoku Haki and is seen using it against Caesar Clown.

Sora

Vinsmoke Judge and Sora had opposing views as Judge only cared about providing their children with the ability to win battles, so he forced Sora into having surgery that would change their sons' Lineage Factor. Sora did not want their sons to lose their humanity. Even at the risk of her own life, Sora tried all within her power to put an end to Judge's irrational desires. After she died, Judge wanted to abandon her way of doing things since he didn't see any benefit in carrying on a deceased person's legacy.

Sanji

Sanji was the only one whose strength was the level of a normal human being. Sanji also did not progress despite Judge's efforts to motivate him by strongly reprimanding him and telling him that if he wanted to be powerful, he needed to train a thousand times harder than his brothers. Judge held Sanji responsible for Sora's passing and thought of him as a continual reminder of his late wife's character.

Because of this, Judge let his other sons mistreat Sanji, even going so far as to say that he was under no duty to assist the begging Sanji and that he was a shame. Sanji refused to accept Judge as his father, and Judge admitted that he had never thought of Sanji as a legitimate son.

Reiju

Reiju displays her love and admiration for her dad, and has earned Judge's trust by receiving critical responsibilities to do. However, she privately despises Judge for his part in her mother's passing and for his vicious behavior. She has been modified by Judge in such a way that she cannot openly defy him, yet she still finds ways to get around him when she can. She despises her father's cruelty to the point that she wants death on both of them for what they made her do, arguing that there is no place in the world for killers.

Ichiji

Judge holds his "beloved" oldest son Ichiji in the highest regard and is pleased to give him command of the Germa 66 soldiers while it carries out its duties. Judge agreed with his eldest son Ichiji when he told Sanji that his behavior was "unroyal" and bringing shame to the family, calling Ichiji's reasoning "flawless." Ironically, as the Vinsmokes were being held by the Big Mom Pirates at gunpoint, Ichiji and his siblings maintained their cool while Judge became anxious.

Niji

Even though he has a lot of regard for his second son, Judge nonetheless prevented Niji from hurting Sanji before the wedding. In spite of his intense rage against his younger brother, Niji obeys his father. Niji, laughed it off when the Charlotte Family held them at gunpoint, but Judge responded accusingly that something is wrong with the three brothers when Niji did so.

Ironically, Niji's inability to experience emotions was due to Judge yet Niji expressed some concern for his father despite this. When Big Mom knocked Judge down, he didn't hesitate to run to his rescue.

Yonji

Due to Yonji's impressive power, Judge shows respect for his youngest son. When Yonji regarded the Charlotte Family was holding them at gunpoint with disinterested eyes, Judge responded accusingly that something was wrong with his son. In his state of anxiety, Judge was unable to recognize that he was to blame for Yonji's inability to experience feeling.

Germa Kingdom

Judge expects the greatest respect from his subjects as the king of his country. The people, who mostly consist of his servants and troops, are devoted to Judge as their king and hold him in the highest regard. Judge views his soldiers as the foundation of the Germa Kingdom, and they submit to his authority. In order to make sure that his army is powerful and successful in his conquest, Judge places great importance on his scientific unit.

Despite their loyalty, Judge shows little to no regard for his subjects as he was more interested in retaking the North Blue than in maintaining his country's ties to the World Government and the benefits that came with them. All of Judge's kingdom's political ties to the World Government have been severed as a result of the aftermath of Whole Cake Island.

Germa 66

Germa 66 is the "true backbone of Germa's might", and Judge expects them to be completely loyal. Judge has little regard for his men and this even applies to his staff members, as when Niji viciously hurt Cosette over a small matter, he did nothing and showed no emotion. He was certain that servants should be used to serve, not the other way around.

Straw Hats Pirates

As Judge was sticking to his royal standards and did not have interest in the Straw Hat Pirates at first, it changed when Sanji said that he would disown his own family in order to be with his crew angered Judge. Judge was pleased to see that Sanji had broken his "useless bonds" when he was forced to beat down his captain.

He was horrified to see them making trouble at the wedding and guessed that they were there to save Sanji. Before the Vinsmokes join forces with the Straw Hat Pirates and the Fire Tank Pirates, Nami gave him and his children the Vinsmokes' raid suit back. When Judge questioned Luffy on why he put his life in danger to only save Sanji but Luffy didn't respond to him, only thanked him for his help and took off with his crew.

Fire Tank Pirates

Judge and his children briefly joined the Fire Tank Pirates when Big Mom tricked the Vinsmoke Family. Judge offered to engage the Big Mom Pirates in order to provide Bege and his companions with the opportunity they need to get out of the wedding location.

Caesar Clown

Caesar Clown, a scientist with the MADS, and Judge were formerly coworkers. Due of Judge's dominating attitude, Caesar hated him. Judge and Caesar put their differences aside and founded a group called NEO MADS after deciding that Vegapunk was the obstacle keeping them from the top place.

North Blue

The nations of the North Blue are Judge’s enemies. He devoted his entire life to exacting revenge on those nations in order to reestablish his Germa Empire. He united with the Big Mom Pirates in order to acquire the military resources necessary to do this, and when they betrayed him, he sobbed hysterically because he would no longer be able to fulfill his dream to retake the region of the sea that his family previously controlled.

Charlotte Linlin

Judge wanted to join forces with Big Mom so that he could easily defeat North Blue with the help of her armies. Judge would put on a nice and courteous front in front of her while wholeheartedly concurring with her that the marriage's main goal was to solidify the partnership. After the wedding, Judge intended to kidnap Pudding to prevent Big Mom from betraying him.

Big Mom also despises Judge and his kids as well. She never planned to marry her favourite daughter, Pudding, into the Vinsmoke Family or to make an alliance with Judge in the first place. Instead, she used the wedding as a pretext to kill Judge and his children and steal their army and technology so she wouldn't have to come to deals with Judge about using them in the future.

Vegapunk

Judge was Vegapunk's previous partner and the two made the "Lineage Factor" discovery, which prompted the World Government to pursue them out of fear of the discovery. The two then went their own ways, with Judge managing to escape and continuing the study for his own purposes while Vegapunk was caught and now works by the government. Judge now despises Vegapunks and always saw him as an obstacle to his goal

Zeff

Judge is aware that Zeff raised Sanji and Judge holds Zeff in low regard. He also threatened to kill Zeff if Sanji didn't comply with his orders because, thanks to his alliance with Big Mom, he knew where Zeff was at all times. He assured Sanji that as long as he complies with his instructions, no one he knows or cares about will be in danger.

World Government

Despite the fact that his kingdom was a part of the government, Judge regularly took advantage of his position there. Although Judge cared more about his ambition to retake the North Blue than his political advantages and was more than prepared to give up his rights with the government. The World Government has cut all relations with Judge and the Germa Kingdom as a result of Judge's effort to form an alliance with the Big Mom Pirates
