Bighorn in One Piece

When the Straw Hat Pirates first arrived on Drum Island, Dalton knew that they were not dangerous and needed help for Nami, so he brought them to Bighorn. He told the pirates about Dr. Kureha, the sole doctor in the region and how she resided in the former fortified Drum Castle at the summit of the Drum Rockies. Soon, while towing Nami, Luffy and Sanji set out to climb the mountain to reach Kureha’s residence.

Dalton, Usopp, and Vivi went out to find Kureha at Cocoa Weed after learning from Nagikuma and Maria that she had descended from the mountain and was searching for patients there. Bighorn was now helpless in the face of Wapol and Bliking Pirates, who had already returned to the island. Dalton quickly returned to Bighorn after learning of Wapol’s arrival at Cocoa Weed using his powers in order to confront his former king.

Dalton attacked Wapol after he ate a few of Bighorn’s buildings and began attacking the invaders. Chess used arrows intended for some disobedient islanders to kill Dalton by taking advantage of his passion for his people. However, before anything else could be done, some enraged Lapahns triggered an avalanche that blanketed the entire town in snow. Wapol and his officers managed to escape from under the snow and make their way to Luffy, whom Wapol believed to be responsible for the avalanche.

Wapol’s foot soldiers stayed in Bighorn during this time, preventing the locals from rescuing Dalton. After accidentally reuniting with Zoro on the way, Usopp and Vivi eventually found their way back to Bighorn. Wapol’s forces were defeated by Zoro, which allowed the locals to finally rescue Dalton. In order to use Kureha’s ropeway to go to Drum Castle and help Luffy battle Wapol, the present Straw Hats and Dalton then left for Gyasta but by the time they arrived, the battle had already ended.

Following Wapol’s defeat, Dalton was crowned king of the Sakura Kingdom (formerly known as the Drum Kingdom). He assisted the citizens of Bighorn in digging out their town from an avalanche of snow.

Two years after the Enies Lobby incident, the Straw Hats’ new bounties were posted and Dalton contacted Kureha from the castle to Bighorn to inform her of Tony Tony Chopper’s bounty.

Bighorn majorly has cylindrical homes with unique conical-shaped roofs. After becoming lost in Drum with Usopp and Roronoa Zoro, Nefertari Vivi was able to recognize the town because of the distinctive architecture of the buildings.

Dalton

Dalton is one of the two known residents of Bighorn. He is the king of Sakura Kingdom (formerly known as the Drum Kingdom). He was a member of Wapol’s Royal Guard in the past.

Negikuma Maria is an inhabitant of Bighorn. She spoke to Dalton while the Straw Hat Pirates were in Bighorn.
