After Boa Huang ate the Flying Squirrel SMILE, she got the characteristics of a flying squirrel. She has a long bushy tail and with the help of her kimono, she is able to glide and fly. She also has a unique paper mask that covers her face and it gives her the ability to observe people and places. It also helps her to communicate and broadcast messages to the people that she needs to. She is responsible for daily announcements around Onigashima.
After eating the Squirrel SMILE, Boa Huang could use her abilities to keep track, detect enemy's attacks and also act as surveillance. She constantly updates her allies on whatever is happening in battle. She also possesses high resilience. She also uses Gifters to enhance and increase her strength in battle.
The Flying Squirrel SMILE doesn't have its own weaknesses other than the standard SMILE Devil fruit weaknesses like being unable to swim, being devoid of all negative emotions, and constantly having a smile on her face irrespective of the situation.
