Foodvalten is located somewhere in New World. Foodvalten was once one of the several islands protected by Whitebeard, as indicated by his Jolly Roger hanging over the town's entrance. But once he passed away in the Summit War of Marineford, the defense broke down, and the Brownbeard Pirates quickly launched an attack.

Brownbeard and his crew seized control of the island and sliced Whitebeard's flag in half. Following this, Foodvalten fell under the control of Brownbeard and his pirate crew.

However, Brownbeard's control over the island was only temporary. When Basil Hawkins, also known as the Magician, and his pirate crew, the Hawkins Pirates, arrived at the island, he crippled Brownbeard and his entire crew, forcing them to flee the island in complete defeat.
