History and Appearance of the Giro Giro no Mi

At some point in the past, Viola consumed the Giro Giro no Mi (Glare-Glare) Devil Fruit. The fruit's appearance has not been revealed.

Strengths and Weaknesses of the Giro Giro no Mi

The fruit’s main strength, as shown by Viola, is that it allows the user to see through everything, both physically and metaphorically. The user can see through a person’s clothes and skin by making circles with their index finger and thumb and placing their hands next to their eyes, much like X-ray specs, but can also read their minds and memories, which allows them to see through any lies. It also allows the user to transfer their own memories to another person’s mind by allowing them to gaze through the circled fingers.

The fruit can also be used offensively in ways that it can alter the user’s tears and turn them into hazardous projectiles.

While there are no obvious flaws, it appears that a person’s thoughts can startle and bother a user without warning. A strong mind is also required, as the fruit’s applications, such as telepathy, can cause emotional or mental harm if used for an extended period of time. Aside from that, the user is vulnerable to the normal Devil Fruit flaws.

Usage and Techniques of the Giro Giro no Mi

Viola mainly uses her power to see through her targets’ clothing or minds, or to allow her targets to see into her memories. Donquixote Doflamingo valued this ability so highly that he accepted Viola’s offer to spare her father’s life in exchange for her services.

Viola has demonstrated the following abilities using her Devil Fruit powers:

Peeping Mind

Viola touches head to head with another person after activating her hand glasses, allowing her to see into the person’s mind and memories. She can also use this technique in reverse, transferring her memories to another person.

Hierro Lágrima: Mekujira (Hot Iron Tear: Eye Whale)

Viola secretes a tear from each of her eyes. The tears then transform into gigantic whales that attack whoever the user directs them to.

Senrigan (Clairvoyance)

This ability of her Devil Fruit allows Viola to spread her vision in all directions within a 4000 km radius, much like a bird. She was able to view all that was going on in the country due to the incredible range of the technique.
