The Headband Catfish Village is the home to the catfish. It was later on destroyed by a shrunken ship and Octopako laughed at them when she saw their village in ruins. Hatchan, Camie, and Pappag came across the village and saw how the villagers were struggling and decided to rebuild their village. He and his friends save the catfish villagers from starving by making them takoyaki.
When they all returned back to the surface, an old catfish came to Hatchan for takoyaki before it was given to Octopako. When Hatchan gave the takoyaki to the old catfish instead of Octopako, she punched him for it. To replay Hatchan, the villagers of Headband Catfish Village made him a ship to sell his takoyaki.
All the inhabitants of Headband Catfish Village are catfish. They are all very skilled carpenters who wear carpenter coats and rope headbands.
