History of Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: King Cobra

When they were slaves, the Gorgon Sisters were force-fed devil fruits as a form of entertainment. Boa Marigold was fed the Hebi Hebi no Mi Model: King Cobra Devil Fruit at that time. As they were ashamed of this, the Sisters told the people of the Kuja Tribe that they were cursed with these powers as they were successful in slaying a monster called Gorgon.

Appearance of Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: King Cobra

As the fruit hasn't yet been shown in the anime, we don't know a lot about its appearance.

Strengths and weaknesses

The devil fruit has a major strength i.e. when the user transforms the physical strength that they gain from the transformed state, they also have a versatile body like a real king cobra and can spit purple venom which can be used for long range combat. This hybrid form also allows the user to have an incredible amount of resilience to heat and fire and they can use fire as a weapon too.

Their tail is the weakness of this devil fruit. This is because the tail can be tied to an object to limit their movement which leaves them vulnerable. The other weakness is the standard devil fruit weaknesses that other devil fruit users have, i.e. that they cannot swim.

Usage

Marigold uses her devil fruit power for combat purposes. With her long hybrid body she is capable of hitting her opponents from a long range and constricting them. She can even spit poison which is very lethal. Marigold was forcefully fed the Hebi Hebi no Mi Model: King Cobra devil fruit for entertainment purposes by the World Nobles.

Techniques

The techniques used by Boa Marigold are:

Saragi no Mai

This is a combined attack between Marigold and her sister Sandersonia. This was first seen during their battle against Luffy.

Moduku

In this technique, Marigold spits a corrosive liquid venom from her mouth. In case the spit doesn't hit the target, it starts emitting poisonous smoke that can affect the people nearby.

Heavy Stick

In this technique, Marigold uses her Busoshoku Haki and imbues it in her tail to attack the enemy.

Hebigami- Tsuki: Salamander

In this technique, Marigold sets herself on fire and then forms two snakes on either side of her. When this attack is used in coordination with her sister's attack, it forms an ultimate attack. It aims at the target from all sides and leaves no blind spots.
