How many One Piece movies are there?

Aside from manga chapters and their anime adaptations, movies are an important aspect of theOne Piece franchise. Toei Animation, which is also responsible for the anime, produces and distributes the One Piece theatrical films. There are a total of 15 One Piece movies that have been released so far.

With the most recent addition, One Piece Film: Red, there are now a total of 15 One Piece movies. The majority of the films follow the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, and are non-canon with close to no input from Eiichiro Oda, the writer and illustrator of the One Piece manga.

Oda is, however, active in the production and contributes to the narratives of One Piece Film: Strong World, One Piece Film: Z, One Piece Film: Gold, and One Piece Film: Red, in contrast to the other films in the franchise. These four films share the title, One Piece Film.
