The Jiki Jiki no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create magnetic forces and use it to control metals. This fruit was devoured by Eustass Kid. The fruit’s abilities were first seen in the Sabaody Archipelago Arc when Eustass fought against the Marines, alongside Monkey D. Luffy and Trafalgar Law. Later, at some point, before his battle against Big Mom, Eustass awakens his fruit’s powers.

At some point in the past, Eustass Kid consumed the Jiki Jiki no Mi (Magnet-Magnet) Devil Fruit.
The Jiki Jiki no Mi appears as a collection of silver spheres that have a yellow vine wrapping itself around them up to the stem, which suggests a cluster of grapes. Each sphere also includes the normal swirl pattern found on all Devil Fruits, as well as a little jagged outgrowth that resembles a bolt of lightning. The fruit’s stem is similarly ragged and resembles a lightning bolt except for the end, which curls into a spiral shape.
The Jiki Jiki no Mi gives the user the ability to create magnetic fields that, at their discretion, can either attract or repel metallic things from their body. Since swords, firearms, and cannons make up the majority of weaponry in the world, they are particularly efficient. By using repulsion, a person can turn metal projectiles against an aggressor by deflecting them back to where they came from.
When an opponent is lured to the user’s body by attraction, their weapons are taken away, leaving them defenseless. The user can also draw himself to massive metal things, such as ships, via attraction, which enables them to move through the air in a way that resembles flying. By wrapping a metallic arm around Big Mom and repelling it, Kid was able to instantaneously send her soaring up in the air, an impressive feat considering Big Mom’s enormous size and weight. In general, the creatable magnetic forces are highly powerful and very difficult, if not impossible, to resist.
The fruit allows the user to have enough control over their magnetism to gather a lot of metallic items around them and mold them into particular shapes. The user may then move these masses about quite fluidly, whether or not they are directly attached to them. This has been observed numerous times with Kid, who has amassed metal objects on his body to create functional equipment like mechanical arms, Gatling guns, rail guns, and even exoskeletons and fighting machines.

This awakening offers potential uses that do not rely on the person needing metal from his surroundings, somewhat lessening that particular weakness.
The fruit’s combat applications are widely dependent on a sufficient amount of metal to be present in the user’s surroundings, especially when building larger, more intricate contraptions. As a result, the user might need to gather a lot of metal artifacts before facing a challenging foe. Kid was forced to go around Onigashima for a long period during the raid in order to gather enough metal parts for use in the upcoming fight with Kaidou and Big Mom. No matter how much metal is accumulated, it seems to attach to the user’s body and follow them wherever they go, generating a huge, moving wall of trash that may potentially swallow nearby objects.
Another known weakness is that if the user sustains substantial damage, the magnetic forces holding larger metal creations in place will deteriorate. Despite the fruit’s metallic composition, it seems to have no impact on Pacifista for some reason (although it is worth noting that Kid was unaware of their nature as cyborgs at the time). Apart from these, the user is affected by typical Devil Fruit weaknesses.
Kid uses both attraction and repulsion a lot during battle. As a counter-offensive technique, Kid repels metallic items away from himself using repulsion, for example, by reflecting a cannonball back towards its shooter. Kid attracts numerous metallic objects through attraction (often disarming his enemies in the process), then assembles a mechanical device from those objects. By far, Kid’s most frequent use of the latter power is to create enormous, metallic arms attached to his own and use those in close-quarters battle.
Kid has a high level of control over his Devil Fruit ability and exhibits remarkable engineering skills as he quickly and effortlessly shapes random metallic things into completely functional limbs, tools, and weapons. In addition to building giant mechanical arms, he can also construct simple items like boxes for enclosing targets, develop completely functional weapons for ranged battle, and create enormous golems out of scrap metal that he can rise and manipulate with magnetism. This gives the fruit support utility as well.
Despite having one of his arms severed by one of the four Emperors, Kid was able to replace it with a temporary prosthetic arm he successfully created using magnetic forces. Kid can instantly create a new prosthetic limb from any metal pieces he manages to draw to himself, in the event that he loses his first one for any cause. In order to surprise his opponents, Kid can also repel his mechanical arm away from his body.
Kid has mastered the fruit’s power to the point where he has awakened it, enabling him to physically impart magnetic characteristics on objects. If there is enough metal around a target to cause this, the metal will swiftly crush the target, with the forces of attraction being so strong as to even shred massive structures toward the target. Kid can also cleverly attach a person to a portion of the environment by giving both of those inverse polarities, immobilizing the first and leaving them open to other attacks. Due to the significant amount of stamina it consumes, he is still getting used to his awakening and only uses it as a last resort.
Kid has demonstrated the following techniques using his devil fruit abilities:
Kid extends his open palm in front of an approaching metal object to deflect it back in the opposite direction. He may even repel someone by covering a part of their own body with metal beforehand; this metal covering can even include his own prosthetic arm—and then letting the repelling metal covering push the person away.
Kid attracts metal pieces to one of his arms in order to form a giant, makeshift arm. He then slams into his opponent, which crushes them.
Kid draws a lot of metal from his surroundings and molds it into the shape of a massive golem made of junk that resembles a demon with a skull face. He sits on the demon’s back and commands it from there; it is made up of a floating torso and two undead arms. The devil may be destroyed and rebuilt as much as Kid wishes because it is made of random scrap metal, therefore doing so won’t have a significant negative impact on him.
After forming Punk Rotten, Kid makes the golem crush a target with both hands.

Kid uses a huge amount of metal to create an enormous railgun, which he then uses to fire an electromagnetic projectile at the target.
Apart from these techniques, Eustass Kid can employ the following awakened techniques:
Kid makes a strange thing or person highly magnetic by touching them. In more detail, he gives a target a magnetic polarity by pronouncing either S (S Esu?) for South or N (N Enu?) for North, and the magnetized object or subject shows the corresponding letter anywhere on its/their surface. Then, with great force, targets with different assigned poles will be dragged into one another until sticking together.
After magnetizing someone else using Assign, Kid widely increases their level of attraction, which causes them to draw countless pieces of metal from large distances towards them.
