Location and History of Komugi Island

Komugi Island is one of the 34 islands surrounding Totto Land. Not a lot is known about its history. Hakuriki Town, also known as Flour Town in Viz English, is the only known town situated on Komugi Island. There are several enormous buildings in the town that are designed like different pastries, including bread, dango, doughnuts, and at least one huge doughnut homie.

It is stated that, according to the current timeline, Komugi Island became a part of Big Mom's territory less than 62 years ago. Charlotte Linlin, aka Big Mom, is said to have modified the appearance of the island with her Soru Soru no Mi (Soul-Soul Fruit) and Streusen's Kuku Kuku no Mi (Cook-Cook Fruit) devil fruit powers and appointed Charlotte Katakuri, her 3rd child, the Minister of Flour, in charge of the island.

In the Whole Cake Island Arc, the breaking of the mirrors on the island shocked the residents of Hakuriki Town as Katakuri battled Monkey D. Luffy inside the Mirro-World.
