Location and History of Liqueur Island

Liqueur Island is one of the 34 islands surrounding Totto Land. Not a lot is known about its history. Gin Town is the only known town situated on Liqueur Island. It is most likely that this town is named after Gin, an alcoholic beverage.

It is stated that, according to the current timeline, Liqueur Island became a part of Big Mom's territory less than 62 years ago. Charlotte Linlin, aka Big Mom, is said to have modified the appearance of the island with her Soru Soru no Mi (Soul-Soul Fruit) and Streusen's Kuku Kuku no Mi (Cook-Cook Fruit) devil fruit powers and appointed Charlotte Zuccotto, her 18th child, the Minister of Alcohol, in charge of the island.

In the Whole Cake Island Arc, liqueur Island is one of the numerous islands that are blocking the Sanji Retrieval Team's sea route with tartes. The Fire Tank Pirates later used it to lure Big Mom and some of her crew away from the Straw Hats. Chiffon later instructed them to change their route in the direction of Funwari Island
