Lvneel Kingdom in One Piece

Lvneel Kingdom is a typical sleepy village with green hills, pine trees, and wooden houses. The royal castle sits over the rest of the kingdom. This kingdom has a port area and execution stand.

Four hundred years ago, Mont Blanc Noland, a famous explorer from the Lvneel Kingdom, set off on an expedition to the Grand Line. When he was traveling, he landed on Jaya Island and met Shandia. He saved their lives from the plague that had infested them and earned their friendship and gratitude. He also got to visit Shandora, the city of gold, but he and his crew refrained from taking the gold due to a misunderstanding regarding a local disease and also out of respect for Jaya’s natives. When Noland returned back to the Lvneel Kingdom, he told the king about his venture in Jaya and discovering the Shandora, and the king was very interested in this.

When Noland was leaving for his next expedition, King Aruyutayan V sent his soldiers to accompany him instead of his usual crew. The journey was turbulent due to the inexperience of the soldiers in sailing. Noland was not aware that half of Jaya island had been shot up to the sky by the Knock Up Stream a year before he arrived and only an empty forested area of the island was left behind. As they found nothing there, King Aruyutayan accused Nolan of having deceived him.

When they all returned to the Lvneel Kingdom, the king ordered Noland to be executed in public for lying to him. They even arranged a false witness to testify against Nolan, and his crew members tried to interfere with the execution but were suppressed by the royal army. Before dying, Noland still insisted that Shandora existed and was sad about his Shandia friend vanishing suddenly.

After his execution, there was a children’s book that came out to make Noland look more like a buffoon and the Lvneel King look like a hero. Due to the popularity of the book, the Mont Blanc family had one descendant setting off on an adventure of their own in order to show that Noland was not wrong.
