Merveille in One Piece

This island became a floating sky fortress due to Shiki’s levitating abilities. As it was under the influence of the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi, Merveille consisted of several floating islands that were suspended in the air. Each of these islands has its own flora and fauna. It also had a lot of water bodies.

After an intense battle between Luffy and Shiki, Shiki’s flying power which helped the island float was deactivated and the island came crashing down into the sea. This trapped a lot of mutated beats within and freed them from Shiki’s control but they still remained secluded from the rest of the world.

The people who live in Merveille are human but they have been mutated to a small degree. This is due to the exposure to SIQ, which has caused them to grow feathers below their arms. This gives them the ability to fly. The people who live in Merveille are:

Xiao

Xiao is Ever’s little sister. She has short red hair that is very unkempt. She has large brown eyes and is very short. She has a strong will and a sense of determination.

Ever

Ever is Xiao’s elder sister. She is forced to work as a waitress for Shiki’s crew in order to keep her family and villagers safe. She hates perverts. She is seen to have the ability to fly or glide with the feathers on her elbows.

Billy

Billy is a giant bird that produces electricity. He was originally created by Indigo but he aided Luffy in his fight against Shiki. Billy is a special type of bird that was created by SIQ and is able to produce electricity from his feathers.

The other people who live in Merveille are Xiao’s father, Xiao’s mother, Xiao’s grandmother and the Golden Lion Pirates.
