The Nagi Nagi no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants its user the ability to create a soundproof area and cancel out all noises, which makes the user a Soundless Human. It was devoured by Donquixote Rosinante. The fruit's abilities were demonstrated during Law’s flashback about his life. After Rosinante’s death, the fruit has returned to circulation.

Rosinante consumed the Nagi Nagi no Mi (Calm-Calm) Devil Fruit sometime between leaving Doflamingo at the age of eight and returning to spy on him at the age of 22. He concealed this information from his brother and the rest of the crew in order to get an advantage over them. He took this secret to his grave, with no one else in the Donquixote Pirates knowing except Law. The fruit has been in circulation since Rosinante’s death.
The fruit’s appearance has not been revealed.
The main ability of this fruit is that the user can create a soundproof field, and the field works in such a way that the sounds inside the field cannot be heard from the outside, and vice versa.
The user can also use the fruit’s power to cancel all noises made by the user or others, making it excellent for situations requiring stealth because the lack of noise lets the user avoid drawing attention from opponents while performing duties that would otherwise be difficult to conceal. This is particularly helpful for surprise attacks against enemies, as they are unaware that their attacker is already poised to strike, as demonstrated by Rosinante’s attack on the Barrels Pirates and successful theft of the Ope Ope no Mi.
If the user dies or becomes incapacitated, the soundproof fields that have been created will be destroyed. Additionally, while it prevents sound from being heard, it does not shield the wearer from attacks. Besides these, it has standard Devil Fruit flaws.
Rosinante used this fruit rarely in order to keep it hidden from his crew, and he used it to have a secret talk with Trafalgar Law as well as to deliver his reports to Sengoku. This ability helped Rosinante in his role as a spy on Doflamingo.
He also used this fruit to plan a surprise attack on a bunch of pirates who possessed the Ope Ope no Mi, showcasing his powers by combining the fruit with the mansion’s utilities to fight the pirates. This was done in an attempt to collect the Ope Ope no Mi for Law in order to cure his Amber Lead sickness while also stopping his brother from receiving the fruit.
According to Rosinante, he can also use it to sleep better at night, presumably by shutting out all noise that would interfere with his slumber.
Rosinante demonstrated the following techniques:
Rosinante creates a circular silent zone around himself with the snap of his fingers. The field stops any sound from leaving while also preventing all outside sounds from entering.
Rosinante muffles any noises made by him. This also applies to noises that are not directly created by the user, such as objects being tossed on the ground and breaking, or explosions caused by weaponry. The user can employ this strategy to complete otherwise loud operations without drawing the attention of his enemies. Rosinante originally demonstrated this technique to Law during a demonstration of his skills. This method can also be applied to other people. Calm, unlike Silent, simply locks sounds from one direction.
