The Sheep SMILE grants the user the physical characteristics of a sheep. When Sheepshead ate the Sheep SMILE Fruit, his hands transformed into sheep horns. He could transform his hands into horns at will. SMILE was made to grant the user the power of animal transformation like the Zoan-type Devil Fruit.

When Sheepshead ate the Sheep SMILE he gained all the characteristics of a Sheep. After eating the SMILE his hands transformed into sheep horns. Sheepshead is able to activate and deactivate his powers at will as he has great control over his SMILE power. He uses his horns to attack his enemies and punches them with it. Sheepshead is seen carrying a large sword and is quite proficient in it. He can be seen using his sword in his fight against Brook.
The SMILE Fruit was made to grant the user the power of animal transformation like the Zoan type Devil Fruit. SMILE users are given enhanced physical abilities and can hold down power opponents too. SMILE users use Gifters to enhance and increase their strength in battle.
Sheepshead is apparently weak against fire attacks that is how Sanji defeated him. Other than that they will lose their ability to swim. They will be devoid of all negative emotions and will be forced to laugh and smile despite what they are truly feeling.
SMILE was created by the joint efforts of Caesar Clown and Donquixote Doflamingo. It is manufactured in the SMILE Factory which is located in Dressrosa. The main ingredient to make SMILE is a chemical known as SAD. Smile fruit is in the shape of an apple with yellow and medium yellow dots on them.
