History and Appearance of the Suke Suke no Mi

Absalom ate the Suke Suke no Mi at some point in the past and he was later encountered by the Blackbeard Pirates, who killed him so Shiryu could steal it from him.

Strengths and Weaknesses of the Suke Suke no Mi

The primary ability of the Suke Suke no Mi is to make the user invisible, but the user can also selectively turn anything they come into touch with, invisible. With this power, the person can listen in on conversations and people without being detected and abduct people without being monitored. This also enables them to carry concealed weapons for attack, such as hand-strapped bazookas.

A complete ship (albeit a small one) has been rendered invisible in order to conduct a covert escape. The main flaw of this ability is that the user’s existence can be quickly disclosed if they are covered by something, such as water, salt, or blood, allowing their opponent to notice them. If the user approaches an opponent too closely, they may be struck if the opponent scores a lucky hit.

In order to detect the invisible user, the opponent may use other senses (such as hearing or smelling). Invisible items will also become apparent as soon as they are longer in contact with the user. If the user is injured by a powerful blow, the fruit’s ability will likewise fade for a few seconds, probably owing to a loss of focus. Aside from that, the user has the normal Devil Fruit flaws.

Usage and Techniques of the Suke Suke no Mi

Absalom

Absalom uses his ability to turn invisible to air him in battle; he claims that his powers are merely supplement to the modifications he has made to his body. He also exploits his invisibility to spy on and sexually harass women while working as a reporter.

Following are the techniques that Absalom demonstrated :

Skating

Absalom makes his entire body disappear. In combat, this is generally used as a warm-up for other techniques. This technique was first performed against a number of Straw Hats on the Thousand Sunny, although it was first named against Sanji.

Shisha no Te

Absalom fires the bazookas on his arms at an attacker; however, because the bazookas and their ammunition are invisible, the resulting attack looks to be some type of concussive blast as the ammunition flies forward without being seen. This technique is also called, “Hands of the Dead”.

Kajin no Te

Absalom hits his opponent several times while remaining unseen. This technique is also called, “Mystery Man Handler”.

Kajin no Ashi

Absalom kicks his opponent several times while remaining unseen. This technique is also called, “Mystery Man Kicker”.

Shiryu

Shiryu, like Absalom, uses this fruit in battle and he can cut opponents without being seen by making himself and his blade invisible.
