During this tragic time, her older brother, Trafalgar D. Water Law, tried to console her while their parents desperately searched for a cure to save their children.
However, their hopes were shattered when the neighboring countries decided to exterminate the inhabitants of Flevance due to the disease's contagious nature. The hospital where Lami and many other patients were being treated was set ablaze as part of this brutal campaign, resulting in her tragic death.
The horrifying sight of the hospital burning and his sister perishing in the flames had a profound and traumatic impact on Law. It was a pivotal moment that fueled his intense desire for revenge against those responsible and set him on a path of darkness and vengeance.
Lami was known for her exceptionally cheerful and happy nature. She was the kind of person who always had a smile on her face and radiated positivity. Her cheerful nature made her a joy to be around, and she had a knack for brightening up the atmosphere wherever she went.
Lami shared a special bond with her brother, Law, who was likely a source of her happiness. Additionally, she had a fondness for festivals, showing that she enjoyed celebrating and having fun with others.
Lami was initially a cheerful young girl with brunette hair styled in pigtails. She often wore a wide, cheerful smile on her face, reflecting her youthful innocence and happiness.
However, after falling victim to amber lead syndrome, her appearance drastically changed. Her body became covered with white spots, which was a visible symptom of her illness.
Lami was a young girl and didn’t possess any remarkable abilities.
Trafalgar Law was the older brother of Lami, and their bond was incredibly strong. When Lami fell seriously ill with amber lead syndrome, Law took on the role of her caretaker. He assured her that their father, who was considered the finest doctor on their island, would cure her.
Unfortunately, despite Law's hope and trust in their father's abilities, Lami succumbed to her illness. Her death had a profound and devastating impact on Law. Along with their family and fellow classmates, Lami's passing played a pivotal role in Law's transformation into a nihilistic and homicidal child, a personality he carried until he crossed paths with Donquixote Rosinante.
