Summary of the Episode

Amazon Lily and the Kuja warriors rejoice at the return of the Snake Princess. Hancock feels that everything on the island is a sign as he prepares a monkey carriage. While Ran's gift is on its way to the castle, the Kuja examine their haul. She encounters Granny Nyon who obtained a newspaper from a government ship. Hancock walks through the castle, happy to be home.

She receives a ring but discards it because she believed that it would ruin her beauty. Enishida also gives her master a statue made by the children of Amazon Lily in her honor. Hancock touches the statue but shatters it since it was made of mud and clay, disrespecting her beauty. Hancock notices that the defenders were not present upon her arrival. Her attendants kept her in the dark stating that they were chasing a wild beast through the forest.

Nyon, an elderly and former empress of the Amazon Lily, informs the Snake Princess that a government ship has arrived and wants her presence. If she does not comply with their wishes, she will lose her title as a Warlord of the Sea. Nyon tries to convince Hancock to aid the Marines and follow their command, because if she lost her title, Amazon Lily would be in grave danger. It would be at the mercy of the government and would be open to attacks from pirates. At first, Hancock seems to agree with the government's terms, but later changes her mind and tosses Nyon out the window. Hancock then announces that she needed to bathe. No one was to go inside the castle while Hancock was bathing.

Hancock strips naked while Ran tells a young girl the story about why no one was allowed into the castle while the Gorgon Sisters take a bath. The Gorgon was a horrifying monster. If anyone gazed at it, they would become statues of stone. Hancock and her sisters killed the monster and were cursed. The sisters were cursed by the monster's demise with terrible eyes on their backs that will petrify and kill anyone who looks at them. In order to protect them from the curse, no one is not permitted to enter the castle while they take a bath.

Luffy, who is wandering around the island looking for a ship to get off the island, discovers that the Kuja had a pirate ship and hopes to borrow it. He hopes to request a ride on their ship back to Sabaody so that he could meet up with his friends since he was unable to sail and navigate through the sea without Nami. He chooses to ask for help after assuming that someone important must live in a massive building. Luffy plunges through the castle's roof and lands in bathwater as the Kuja defenders attempt to capture him. Luffy appears safe because the water is shallow, but then he notices Hancock, who is also naked in the bath. He notices something familiar on her back. Hancock was enraged as she hated men and her back was exposed to one, revealing her secret.
