Vinsmoke Yonji in One Piece

Past

Vinsmoke Judge informed Yonji and his siblings that he had enhanced their bodies when they were very young. They had to put in a lot of hard work in order to develop these superhuman abilities. Sanji was left behind while Yonji and his brothers succeeded in their training. Sanji's slow pace used to frustrate Yonji and his brothers and they took great joy in teasing Sanji for being weak.

When Judge imprisoned Sanji and said that Sanji had passed away, Yonji expressed his joy at this. Yonji and his brothers used to torment Sanji more once they learned that he was still alive. When Sanji left the Germa Kingdom, it amused Yonji, and he and his brothers imagined ways in which Sanji might die if left on his own.

Whole Cake Island

Before the wedding, when the Vinsmoke family was having dinner together, Yonji informed Sanji about the discussion he and his siblings had prior to leaving Germa. Whatever Yonji said, Sanji disregarded it. Later, in the Germa Lab, Ichiji and the other siblings ran into Sanji. Sanji assaulted Niji in revenge for being mocked for being weak, but the other siblings overpowered him. Then Ichiji and the other Vinsmoke Family members left the Germa Kingdom and went to Big Mom's palace. While traveling, they saw Sanji and Luffy fighting as Luffy and Nami arrived to save Sanji. After defeating Luffy, Sanji went back to the carriage, and Luffy promised to wait for him as they rode. Yonji chuckled in response.

The Vinsmoke family saw Big Mom's collection of exotic animals when they got to the Palace. Yonji and his siblings were told by Judge to take Pudding with them after the wedding in order to have the upper hand on Big Mom. On the day of the wedding, Yonji got ready and traveled with his family to the venue. Everyone arrived and took seats at the main table at the foot of the altar as soon as it was announced that the bride and groom were ready. As the assassination attempt began, the Charlotte Family held the Vinsmoke family at gunpoint. As Perospero was going to shoot them, Sanji suddenly showed up to save them and give them back their raid suits.

However, Big Mom had them in her grasp as they ran to help their father in his battle with her. Yonji and Niji brought an unconscious Judge to safety before returning to the fight. Later, Ichiji and his brothers came just in time to save Sanji and Luffy from the oncoming onslaught as Big Mom was ready to encircle them. After Sanji grabbed Luffy and escaped, the Big Mom Pirates wounded Niji and his siblings with anti-Germa bullets, but despite their injuries, they persisted in fighting until the Straw Hats withdrew.

Vinsmoke Yonji is very stingy and did not lift a hand to help a poisoned Luffy. He prefers to be a spectator of conflicts as he does not like to get involved in them a lot. He has a lot of pride and was very angry when Reiju was humiliated in front of the Straw Hats and also when Sanji defeated him once, when he swore to get revenge on him. He does not have the capacity to feel empathy and sympathy due to the genetic alterations made by Vinsmoke Judge. He had such an emotional detachment that even when he was threatened with death, he showed no emotion. He really cares and is mindful of his family’s affairs and decides to not help the Straw Hats as it would jeopardize their own plans. He also scolded Sanji as he refused to listen to them and cooperate with their family’s plans i.e. to form an alliance with the Big Mom Pirates.

Yonji is very arrogant like a lot of his family members and thought that he could beat Luffy very easily as Sanji was able to defeat Luffy. He has a strong dislike for anyone who is kind and cannot tolerate anyone who has this trait. He says that it is worthless for royals and that it was beneath them. Just like his brothers, Yonji is also shown lecherous qualities and is seen getting love-struck by Nami when he saw her and he said that he is into her fiery personality when she slapped Sanji during Sanji’s fight against Luffy. He lets these lustful thoughts cloud his judgments at times and will do a lot of things absentmindedly.

Vinsmoke Yonji has identical facial features to Sanji, however his hair is green and slicked back into a cowlick, his eyebrows are curved on the left side of his face and he has less facial hair. He is very muscular and is taller than his elder brothers. When he commands Germa 66, Yonji wears a green raid suit which includes a shirt with the gold number ‘66’ and a black cloak with the green ‘4’ on the left. He also wears a striped belt with the Germa 66 symbol on his belt, metal gloves, an orange ascot, sunglasses, and back earphones. Out of his raid suit, Yonji wears a light-colored shirt with a frilled collar, a striped belt, and black pants.

For formal events, Yonji wears a dark floor-length, single-shoulder royal cape that has an upturned collar. During the Tea party, Yonji wore a double-breasted jacket over a white collared shirt and green pants with brown gloves. He paired it with a white royal cape and clasped it with two chains. As a child, Yonji styled his hair with a small cowlick on top of his head. He wore a light green shirt with the number ‘4’ on it, an orange bandana around his neck, white pants, and brown boots.

Vinsmoke Yonji has superhuman abilities due to the genetic modifications that were given to him as a child. Even his strength and agility improved over time and he also has an outer skeleton that gives him a great amount of durability, like when his face became dented by Sanji, it didn't hurt him at the time of impact or while getting the treatment. He also has great reaction speed and a high tolerance for alcohol like his siblings.

Winch Green

Vinsmoke Yonji is also known as Winch Green due to his abilities. He wears a device on his right forearm that is like a winch that allows him to extend his hand with a cable to grab faraway things from his enemies. It also allows him to shatter things. It is unknown if his left hand has any abilities.

Equipment

Vinsmoke Yonji possesses a raid suit that he got from his family’s technological prowess. This raid suit protects him from fire, bullets and strong blows and it comes with jet-propelled boots.

Vinsmoke Judge

Yonji is very respectful of his father. Yonji is one of Judge's "precious" kids, much like his two oldest, and he has rejected the idea of allowing him to wed one of Big Mom's daughters. Despite his lack of feelings, Yonji did make an effort to help his father when Big Mom struck him. Yonji and Niji took their father away from the damage when the Whole Cake Chateau fell while he was still asleep.

Vinsmoke Sora

Vinsmoke Sora took dangerous medicine throughout her pregnancy with Yonji and the rest of his siblings in an effort to save him from losing his emotions. But Yonji recovered from Judge's operation, and Sora later passed away from the drug's side effects, during Yonji’s childhood years. How his relationship was with Sora when she was still alive is unknown.

Vinsmoke Reiju

Despite living a royal life, Yonji and his older sister seem to have a typical sibling connection. Reiju did object to Yonji bullying Sanji when they were kids, but she laughed at it so that he would not bully her. Yonji became enraged when she humiliated him by throwing him off their ship and called him a "stingy idiot" because he refused to help the Straw Hats. Despite everything, both of them are committed to carrying out their father's orders because they did nothing to stop the Straw Hats despite knowing that it would prevent Sanji's wedding.

Vinsmoke Niji

Since Yonji helped his older brother in bullying Sanji as a child, the two got along well. He was also looking forward to seeing the latter when he and Niji reached Whole Cake Island, even when Ichiji welcomed Sanji back and reminded him of his status as a failure in their family.

Sanji

Yonji looked forward to seeing Sanji when he reached Whole Cake Island. Later, while eating with the family, he laughed at Niji's negative remarks about Sanji. Later, when Sanji kicked Niji against a wall, Yonji was also alarmed and anxious, but he smiled when Niji defeated Sanji by threatening Zeff's life. Later, when Sanji starts crying about leaving the Straw Hats behind, he once more joins Niji in laughing at Sanji. Yonji scolded Sanji for disobeying their father, but Sanji surprised him by overpowering him, leaving Yonji with a scarred face. Yonji was astonished by Sanji's sudden power and promised to take revenge on the latter after questioning how a "good for nothing" like Sanji managed to defeat him.

Straw Hat Pirates

On the journey to get Sanji back from Whole Cake Island, Yonji ran into the Straw Hat Pirates. Due to their similar features, the whole crew first thought he was Sanji until he removed his hood and revealed himself. Yonji refused the Straw Hats' request to help in curing Luffy of his poisoning, accusing them of trying to forcefully take the medicine from him as a pirate would. The team saw that Yonji wasn't his brother despite their identical features. When Reiju finally healed Luffy, he thanked her but asked that Germa bring back Sanji, which led Yonji to say that Reiju saved their enemy’s life.

Big Mom Pirates

Yonji and his family were tricked into establishing an alliance by Big Mom, who was actually planning to kill them all. Yonji maintained his composure in the face of certain death. Yonji fought against the Big Mom Pirates to help Sanji's friends in fleeing inside Bege's castle when Sanji set him free. Later, Yonji made the decision to take on Big Mom with his family in order to provide a window of opportunity for Luffy and Bege's groups to flee. Yonji suffered a major defeat by the Emperor but was spared from death as a result of her palace falling. Yonji and his brothers in the Germa Kingdom successfully defeated the assassins dispatched to find his family. In order to get revenge on the Big Mom Pirates for their deceit, Yonji and his brothers helped Sanji and Luffy escape from Cacao Island.
