North Blue in One Piece

North Blue is an ocean area in the One Piece series.

It is one of the four seas that are divided by the Grand Line and Red Line. Many famous characters including the Straw Hat Pirates’ cook Sanji are from North Blue. This part of the sea was once ruled by the Germa Kingdom, better known as the Vinsmoke Family.

North Blue is filled with various unique islands, each of which have their own history and characteristics. One of those is the Loguetown, where Gol D. Roger was born and executed. Before setting sail towards the Grand Line, the Straw Hat Pirates stopped here to load on some goods for their journey further ahead.

Locations at North Blue

Germa Kingdom: The only seagoing country in the world and a former World Government member is the Germa Kingdom, also known as the Kingdom of Science. It served as the capital of the Germa Empire for about 300 years prior to the Vinsmoke Family's conquest of the North Blue.

Rubeck Island: It was the location where a pirate by the name of Diez Barrels planned to give the Ope Ope no Mi to the Marines in exchange for a huge sum of money thirteen years ago.

Flevance: Trafalgar Law was born in the nation of Flevance, popularly referred to as the "White City," which is famous for its Amber Lead.

Lvneel: Mont Blanc Noland was born here, and this is also where he died. This is also the ancestral home of Mont Blanc Cricket.

Spider Miles: After Doflamingo ran away from Mary Geoise, the Donquixote Pirates established their base of operations in Spider Miles, residing in a refurbished structure inside the Waste Processing Plant.

Minion Island: It is the location where Donquixote Rosinante was killed by his older brother Donquixote Doflamingo and Trafalgar Law acquired his Ope Ope no Mi abilities.

Swallow Island: This island is situated on the south of Minion Island and Rubeck Island.

Notice Village: It is the birthplace of the Bellamy Pirates, who fled their "boring" village when they were too young to follow a life of piracy.

North Pole: It is the northernmost point in the world.

Kuen Village: It is the birthplace of Baby 5, a former member of the Donquixote Pirates.

Deul Village: It is a Kingdom affiliated with the World Government and ruled by Chap.

Whiteland Kingdom: It is a Kingdom affiliated with the World Government and ruled by Iwatobi.
