Delta’s Background

Akebi Sanzu, the daughter of Amado, faced a devastating illness of mysterious origins that defied any known treatment. In a desperate attempt to save her, Amado made a bold decision: he chose to clone her. Through this process, Akebi's brain was preserved, and her memories were carefully copied and implanted into the clone. These clones, known as Delta, emerged with a complete recollection of Akebi's experiences. However, despite possessing her memories, the clones exhibited starkly different personalities from the original Akebi.

Driven by his desire to restore Akebi's true essence, Amado repeated the cloning process multiple times, each attempt aimed at recreating her distinctive personality. Unfortunately, his efforts fell short, and none of the Delta clones embodied the essence that made Akebi who she was. Nevertheless, these imperfect replicas became members of the secretive organization known as Kara, accompanying Amado in his collaboration with Jigen. Jigen, in turn, promised Amado the resurrection of Akebi as a reward for aiding him in his grand ambitions.

In the Boruto anime, Delta was on a mission for Kara to locate suitable candidates to become Jigen's vessel. Her search led her to a small village where she encountered Kawaki's bloodstained cloth. This discovery piqued Delta's interest, and she began to investigate further. It turned out that Kawaki had been bullied by other children in the village.

Later, Jigen learned of Kawaki's situation and made the decision to intervene. He purchased Kawaki from his abusive father, effectively taking him into his care. This move would prove to have far-reaching consequences, as Kawaki's fate would become inextricably linked to Jigen's grand designs.

Kara Actuation Arc

In the Boruto anime, during a critical moment, Jigen summoned a meeting of the Inner members, and Delta was present to hear his message. In the meeting, Jigen informed them of the destruction of one of their facilities located in Amegakure. According to Jigen, the attack was orchestrated by an Outer, which threatened the organization's stability.

Ao Arc

In the Boruto anime, Delta was actively testing the latest modifications made to her body. However, she grew increasingly frustrated when her legs didn't respond as quickly as she desired. This annoyance led her to reach out to Amado, believing that he had slacked off in his work and seeking his assistance. Later on, she joined Amado in overseeing the transportation of the enigmatic "vessel" aboard Victor's stealth ship, harboring doubts about Amado's true intentions and questioning his helpfulness.

A significant turning point occurred when Delta attended a crucial meeting summoned by Jigen. The meeting revolved around the pressing issue of the missing "vessel," and Jigen emphasized the utmost importance of recovering it at any cost. As Jigen dispelled a genjutsu, he emphasized the gravity of the situation, setting the stage for a critical mission ahead.

Subsequently, Delta received a summons from Amado, along with the other Inner members, for what was ostensibly a routine body check and maintenance session. However, Amado had an ulterior motive to detect any suspicious signs of a traitor within the organization.

During this encounter, Delta was stunned to learn from Amado that Koji had killed Victor, an unexpected revelation that sent shockwaves through their ranks. Delta couldn't resist taunting Code about Koji's apparent favor with Jigen, as well as Code's own desire to impress their leader.

In a critical turn of events, Delta was preparing to test the maintenance work on her body when she suddenly found herself under attack by Code. Determined to uncover the traitor within their midst, Code began his interrogation with Delta, focusing on her since she held the "I" designation. Accusing her of being the traitor, Code confronted Delta with his suspicions. However, Delta swiftly countered his accusations by pointing out that Code seemed unusually pleased with the disappearance of the vessel, raising doubts about his own intentions.

Tensions escalated as Code's anger surged, and he appeared ready to launch an attack on Delta. Just as the situation reached a boiling point, Amado intervened, arriving on the scene to defuse the conflict. Amado revealed that the system check conducted on everyone had revealed no signs of treachery, exonerating Delta and the others. However, Delta remained vigilant and questioned Amado's motives, suggesting that he could be using the situation to mask his own treacherous activities.

Amidst the lingering suspicions, Delta took matters into her own hands and covertly accessed the files on Code, hoping to uncover any incriminating evidence. Furthermore, she regarded Koji Kashin as a potential traitor, harboring doubts about his allegiance to Kara.

Kawaki Arc

During a tense dinner with Jigen, Delta expressed her deep concern over Koji Kashin's relentless pursuit of Kawaki. Frustrated by the delays in recovering the vessel, she vehemently kicked the table away and demanded an explanation from their leader. Jigen, in response, provided his reasoning, attempting to quell her anger and reassure her about the progress being made.

Subsequently, Delta received permission from Jigen to personally assess the mission's progress and report back to him if any issues arose. Taking on the task, she observed Koji from a distance as he approached the scene. Koji inquired if Delta had brought an Outer, to which she confirmed that she had brought Garō along for the retrieval of Kawaki. Delta watched with surprise as the defiant Kawaki launched an attack on Garō, revealing his incredible strength.

Adding to the unfolding complexity, Delta made a startling discovery during the encounter—Boruto Uzumaki, son of Naruto Uzumaki, possessed a Kāma, a fact that took her aback. As the situation escalated and Kawaki ultimately killed Garō before succumbing to overheating and fainting, Delta saw an opportunity to eliminate the Konoha-nin and secure Kawaki for themselves.

However, Koji argued against immediate action, asserting that Boruto's possession of a Kāma warranted further observation. He also pointed out that the recent blimp crash had exposed Kara's existence to the world, making their next moves all the more critical. With their differing perspectives, Delta and Koji found themselves at a crossroads, each holding their own plans and priorities. Later, Delta and Koji arrived at the main gates of Konohagakure, ready to carry out their mission to retrieve Kawaki.

Delta acknowledged the significant challenge of infiltrating Konohagakure. However, despite her reservations, she found herself instructed by Koji to remain where she was. As Koji entered the village undetected, without triggering the barrier, Delta couldn't help but feel betrayed, suspecting that he deliberately tricked her to continue the mission without her surveillance.

Growing increasingly impatient with Koji's absence and consumed by her anger, Delta made a decision. She activated a drone concealed within her back, knowing it could bypass Konoha's barrier without detection. Commanding the drone to locate and relay information about Kawaki's whereabouts, she launched it into the sky. Her intention was clear—to gather critical intelligence before making her move.

As the drone scouted the village, it eventually discovered Kawaki engaged in training alongside Boruto. With the information in hand, Delta took to the skies, breaching Konoha's airspace. However, her presence did not go unnoticed. Ino and the Konoha Barrier Team detected her intrusion, recognizing the imminent threat she posed.

With her transformed legs propelling her forward, Delta raced toward Kawaki's location. However, upon her arrival, she unexpectedly encountered the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, standing alongside his two children. The situation intensified as Delta faced not only the vessel she sought but also one of the most formidable shinobi in the world.

With unwavering confidence, Delta demanded the immediate handover of Kawaki. Confirming her identity as an Inner from Kara, she addressed Naruto directly. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Naruto quickly formulated a plan and issued instructions to both Boruto and Kawaki.

The clash between Naruto and Delta began, with Naruto initially showcasing his superior skills in taijutsu. However, Delta swiftly adapted her tactics, utilizing her shinobi-ware to launch unexpected sneak attacks and effectively absorbing Naruto's powerful Rasengan attacks. The battle intensified as Naruto tapped into his Six Paths Sage Mode, unleashing his enhanced abilities.

Despite Naruto's heightened state, Delta managed to overpower him, pinning him down. In an attempt to gain insights into Delta's motives, Naruto probed her intentions. However, Delta saw through his attempt, realizing that he was already healing from their previous exchanges. This revelation led her to view Naruto as a monstrous entity similar to herself.

Harnessing her own chakra cloak, Delta continued her relentless assault on Naruto. In a shocking twist, she utilized the absorbed power of Naruto's Rasengan against him, turning his own signature move into a weapon against him. As the battle between Naruto and Delta raged on, Naruto's relentless assault began to wear down his adversary.

Recognizing that she couldn't defeat the Hokage at her current rate, Delta unleashed her ultimate weapon—a devastating eye beam capable of overriding even the strongest regenerative abilities. While Naruto managed to dodge the lethal beams, the split-second diversion allowed Delta to land more solid blows, exploiting the momentary opening.

Concerned for his father's safety, Boruto, driven by his protective instincts, impulsively launched his Vanishing Rasengan towards Delta. However, to Boruto's astonishment, Delta quickly absorbed the attack, replenishing her energy and further intensifying her power.

Undeterred by the failed attempt, Delta swiftly shifted her focus to a new tactic. She directed her destructive eyebeam towards Himawari, fully aware that regardless of the outcome, someone would be caught in the crossfire—whether her intended target or the Hokage himself, acting as a human shield to protect his daughter.

To everyone's surprise, however, it was Kawaki who stepped forward, intercepting the blast with his own body, sacrificing his right arm in the process. This unexpected turn of events fueled Delta's anger even further, escalating the already volatile situation.

In the aftermath of Kawaki's selfless act, Delta scolded him for damaging his own body, asserting that as the "Vessel," he belonged to Kara and Jigen. Confident in Amado's ability to heal the damage inflicted.

Meanwhile, Naruto, consumed by fury, continued his relentless assault on Delta. The battle between the two reached its climax as they exchanged powerful blows, each determined to prevail. In a decisive moment, Delta found herself on the receiving end of Naruto's attack, crashing down to the ground.

Seizing the opportunity, Naruto approached Delta, fully aware of the threat she posed. In a desperate attempt to secure victory, Delta unleashed her eye beams at point-blank range, intending to deliver a fatal blow. However, Naruto skillfully dispersed the attack with a formidable Big Ball Rasengan. Undeterred, Delta absorbed the Rasengan, pushing Naruto to summon an even greater Rasengan, surpassing the limits of her eye's chakra absorption capabilities.

As Naruto's enhanced Rasengan surged forward, Delta's eye failed to absorb the overwhelming chakra, severing her connection with her drone and causing her plan to falter. Sensing an opening, she resorted to a physical attack, but Naruto evaded her strike, displaying his agility and reflexes. In a final devastating move, Naruto unleashed his Super-Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan, delivering a devastating blow that sent Delta crashing into the depths of a colossal crater.

As a last resort, Delta triggered a self-destruct mechanism within her own body, forcing her enemies to retreat from the impending explosion. The blast engulfed the battlefield, leaving behind a trail of destruction. However, despite her physical form being obliterated, Delta's drone remained intact and managed to escape the blast radius. It retreated to a secure Kara base, where it connected to a terminal and activated a spare body, allowing Delta to be reborn once again.

Fueled by her overwhelming fury and thirst for revenge, Delta vowed to make Naruto pay for her defeat. However, her outburst was met with teasing remarks from her fellow Inners, causing a brief moment of amusement. Their exchange was quickly silenced by Jigen. In her report to Jigen, Delta conveyed that Koji had chosen to let events unfold in order to gather additional information. She also revealed the startling revelation that Boruto possessed a genuine Kāma of his own.

In a subsequent turn of events, Jigen emerged victorious in a fateful battle against Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, sealing Naruto away and leaving Sasuke gravely injured. With his body deteriorating, Jigen returned to Kara's headquarters. Delta observed silently as Jigen, on the brink of physical collapse, was connected to medical equipment by Amado, who sought to treat his deteriorating condition. As Delta watched the interaction between Jigen and Amado, tensions were palpable. She couldn't help but unleash her sharp tongue, insulting Amado with her cutting words.

In a subsequent development in the anime, Delta embarked on a mission to check on Boro in a different dimension after losing contact with him. To her shock, she discovered that Boro had been killed, and the Hokage had managed to escape. Wasting no time, she promptly reported these findings to Jigen.

Jigen then assigned Delta a new task — the complete annihilation of Boro's cult base. It was imperative to ensure that no one could exploit Boro's Space-Time Gate for their own advantage. Determined and unwavering, Delta set out to carry out her orders with ruthless efficiency. She unleashed her destructive power, incinerating everything in her path without hesitation or mercy. Her mission left only a few surviving followers of the cult, ensuring that their influence would be severely diminished.

Later, Delta stumbled upon Koji and Amado, who was attempting to leave without Jigen's authorization. Recognizing the potential danger they posed, she moved to intervene and stop them. However, her efforts were abruptly halted when Amado issued a shutdown command, deactivating Delta and rendering her immobile.

According to Amado, Delta's shutdown was intended to be permanent, with Code being the sole surviving Inner of Kara. This revelation suggested that Amado possessed the sole authority to disable the shutdown command. Furthermore, to prevent Delta's spare bodies from falling into the wrong hands, Amado had taken precautions to dispose of them, eliminating any potential threat they might pose.

Omnipotence Arc

After defecting to Konoha and the demise of Isshiki Otsutsuki, Amado took it upon himself to create a new and more powerful body for Delta, envisioning her as a formidable ally to the village. However, their plans were soon interrupted when Code infiltrated Amado's laboratory, utilizing a Claw Mark placed on Shikamaru Nara to gain access.

In a sudden turn of events, Shikamaru activated Delta, commanding her to attack Code, much to her annoyance. Delta swiftly immobilized Code, pinning him down in a display of her combat prowess. However, Code, displaying his own cunning, utilized another Claw Mark to summon Ada into the lab, surprising everyone present.

Driven by Ada's unique abilities, Delta found herself instantly infatuated and unable to land a successful strike against Ada. Instead, she obediently followed Ada's command to release Code, her admiration for Ada overriding her previous mission objectives. Delta struggled to explain her actions to Shikamaru, her attention fully captivated by Ada's charm and cuteness.

As the situation intensified with the approach of Kawaki, Delta made the decision to retreat alongside Code, taking Amado hostage in the process. Shikamaru, unwilling to let them escape, attempted to intervene, but Ada swiftly commanded Delta to assist her. Delta complied, delivering a powerful kick that disrupted Shikamaru's hold on his jutsu, allowing them to make their escape. Before leaving, Delta expressed her desire for Ada to visit again.

Upon discovering that Ada had relocated to Konoha, Delta wasted no time in approaching Sarada and Mitsuki, seeking their permission to see Ada. However, both Sarada and Mitsuki, aware of Delta's vulnerability to Ada's entrancing ability, denied her request. They understood the potential risks and decided it would be best to keep Delta away from Ada's influence.

In an unexpected turn of events, Sumire arrived on the scene and issued Delta's shutdown command, deactivating her once again. This action was taken to ensure Delta's compliance and to prevent any potential disruptions caused by her infatuation with Ada.

The following day, when Ada extended an invitation for Sarada and Sumire to join her, Delta attempted to tag along, eager to be part of the gathering. However, Sumire swiftly intervened, threatening to deactivate Delta once more. Assurances were made by Katasuke that they would keep a closer eye on Delta, ensuring she remained under observation to prevent any further complications. Delta, feeling slighted by their actions, couldn't help but perceive their behavior as mean.

Delta’s Personality

Delta's short temper often leads to destructive behavior, as demonstrated by her impulsive act of kicking a table in frustration while her leader was dining. She exhibits a strong dedication to missions and becomes visibly agitated when they are not completed according to her expectations. Interestingly, Jigen has mentioned her concerns about her weight, suggesting that she places importance on her physical appearance.

Delta does not shy away from expressing her opinions of others and holds a deep animosity towards the other Inners in Kara, except for Jigen, whom she may regard differently. Despite inheriting all the memories of her genetic source as Amado's daughter, Delta harbors a particular hatred for him, making her disdain for Amado stand out even among the other Inners. Ada has observed that Delta's personality does not align with that of her genetic source.

In addition to her short temper, Delta displays a strong focus on her missions and a determination to see them through. She becomes impatient when faced with delays or obstacles, highlighting her desire for efficiency and prompt results. While she may be hot-headed and confrontational, Delta also exhibits a level of self-consciousness regarding her physical appearance.

Her open dislike for her fellow Inners and her complex relationship with Amado suggest a complicated dynamic within Kara. Despite her genetic background, Delta's personality diverges significantly, painting her as a distinct and complex individual.

Delta's impatience becomes evident in situations where she desires quick results. This is seen when she grows increasingly agitated while waiting for Koji Kashin during their search for Kawaki in Konohagakure. Her confidence in her own abilities is unmistakable, as she openly confronts Kawaki, even in the presence of the revered Seventh Hokage, showing little fear or hesitation.

Delta possesses a keen perception, easily seeing through Naruto Uzumaki's attempts to deceive her by concealing his true power and pretending to be defeated. Her ability to discern his intentions showcases her astuteness and ability to read others.

One notable trait of Delta is her strong sense of superiority. She quickly dismisses the Seventh Hokage as being beneath her and becomes fixated on exacting revenge after he defeats her. This hints at a complex and deep-rooted belief in her own superiority, which fuels her desire to eliminate those she perceives as threats or obstacles.

Delta's impatience, confidence, perceptiveness, and superiority complex combine to shape her personality, making her a formidable and complex character within the narrative.

In addition to her destructive tendencies, Delta possesses an exceptionally cold-hearted and sadistic nature. She displays a complete lack of empathy and remorse when she attempts to kill Himawari Uzumaki solely to manipulate and provoke Naruto into her line of fire. The fact that she would target an innocent girl and derive pleasure from the thought of ending her life highlights the depths of her cruelty.

However, Delta's demeanor drastically changes when Kawaki unexpectedly intervenes and sacrifices his own arm to protect Himawari. She is taken aback and infuriated by this act, as she never anticipated such selflessness and devotion from him. To Delta, Kawaki is nothing more than a tool, a mere vessel for Kara's plans, and she openly treats him as an object rather than a person with free will. This is evident in her anger towards him for daring to use his own body as a shield, as it goes against her perception of him as a disposable asset.

Delta's sadistic nature and disregard for the lives of others, coupled with her dehumanizing treatment of Kawaki, further emphasize her cold-heartedness and lack of compassion. She serves as a stark reminder of the dark and twisted aspects of Kara's ideology, embodying their ruthless and utilitarian approach to achieving their goals.

After undergoing reprogramming by Katasuke Tōno and Amado to serve as a soldier for Konohagakure, Delta adapts to her new identity with relative ease, seemingly retaining memories of her past self. Despite this transition, she maintains her harsh and irritable nature, demonstrating no hesitation in attacking Code or fulfilling her duties. However, her loyalty to Konoha can be compromised if she falls under Ada's alluring influence, highlighting the potential vulnerability of her allegiance.

Interestingly, Delta also displays certain childlike traits that have emerged since her reprogramming. She exhibits behavior such as pouting and whining, as demonstrated when Sumire threatens to deactivate her after Delta insists on seeing Ada again. These newfound characteristics add a touch of unpredictability and complexity to her personality, blurring the line between her mature and childlike aspects.

Overall, Delta's transformation as a soldier for Konohagakure introduces a mix of familiar and altered traits. While she retains her harsh and irritable demeanor, her willingness to serve the village, and her formidable combat abilities, she also displays hints of vulnerability and childlike behavior, showcasing the intricate nature of her reprogrammed identity.

Delta’s Appearance

Delta possesses a distinct and striking appearance. She is characterized by her long, curly, blonde hair that cascades down, complemented by her light purple eyes adorned with yellow eye shadow. Notably, her pupils and irises feature vertical lines, adding an intriguing touch to her gaze. Adorning her forehead is a green tattoo in the shape of the Roman numeral "I," symbolizing her designation as an Inner of Kara (the tattoo is black in the anime adaptation).

When it comes to her fashion choices, Delta embraces a bold and vibrant style. She adorns her lips with yellow lipstick and matches it with matching yellow nail polish on her fingernails and toenails. Her attire consists of a black cloak with a pink inner lining, creating a striking contrast. Underneath, she wears a turquoise outfit with various unique elements. This includes exposed heart-shaped cut-outs on her back, bishop sleeves with triangle-shaped cut-outs, and a prominent triangle-shaped cut-out on her chest. White wrist cuffs add an additional touch of flair.

To complete her ensemble, Delta wears pink triangle earrings and opts for black and red striped tights, adding a sense of visual interest. Her long, white high-heeled shinobi sandals give her a graceful and elevated stature. In the manga depiction, her outfit features pink studs embroidered in the center, further enhancing its visual appeal.

Following her reprogramming as an ally of Konoha, Delta's appearance underwent significant changes to reflect her new allegiance. The symbol on her forehead was modified to combine elements of both a triangle and Konoha's symbol, representing her dual identity. Her previous green tattoo was transformed into a symbol that symbolizes her alignment with Konoha.

As for her attire, Delta adopted a fresh look that resonates with her new role. She now wears a stylish turquoise tube mini dress, exuding a sense of confidence and modernity. To add a touch of elegance, she adorns white fingerless evening gloves that accentuate her hands.

A collared capelet became a part of her ensemble, fastened with a pink triangular clasp. The clasp features a spiral design reminiscent of Konoha's symbol, further solidifying her connection to the village. This capelet adds a hint of sophistication to her appearance.

Continuing her signature style, Delta still sports black and red striped tights, which serve as a bold and eye-catching element. Her triangle earrings remain a constant accessory, complementing her overall look. Finally, she completes her outfit with long white high-heeled sandals, offering both grace and an elevated stature.

Overall, Delta's reprogrammed appearance showcases a fusion of her previous identity and her new allegiance to Konoha. The combination of vibrant colors, unique accessories, and thoughtful design elements serves to highlight her transformation as a powerful and loyal ally of the village.

Delta’s Abilities

As one of Kara's Inners, Delta possesses extraordinary and intimidating abilities that can be considered monstrous. Her mere presence alone is enough to strike fear into the heart of Kawaki, causing him to sweat in trepidation. This showcases the immense power and aura that she emanates.

Delta's formidable strength is further demonstrated by her ability to confront the Seventh Hokage, widely recognized as the most powerful shinobi in history. Although Naruto Uzumaki wasn't fighting at his full capacity, their encounter reveals Delta's resilience and capability to hold her ground against such a legendary figure.

In addition to her formidable physical prowess, Delta also possesses a unique technique called Genjutsu Communication, which utilizes Yin Release. This enables her to communicate through the use of illusions, showcasing her versatility and mastery over different forms of jutsu.

Taijutsu

Delta exhibits exceptional prowess in taijutsu, displaying remarkable skill and agility. Despite facing the Seventh Hokage in his formidable Six Paths Sage Mode and Kurama Mode, she engages him in combat and lands several powerful blows.

Her proficiency in taijutsu is further enhanced by her Shinobi-Ware, allowing her to pose a significant challenge to Naruto and forcing him to maintain a defensive stance. Delta's abilities and technique put pressure on Naruto, compelling him to remain vigilant throughout their encounter.

Body Modifications

Amado has extensively augmented Delta's body with highly advanced Shinobi-ware, transforming her into a full cyborg. This enhancement allows her to undergo body transformations similar to Kawaki's, granting her exceptional adaptability in battle.

One of Delta's remarkable features is the ability to upload her consciousness into replica bodies, ensuring her existence even if her physical form is destroyed.

She also carries a Spy Drone on her back, which records her consciousness and remains undetectable by chakra sensing. This drone provides effective espionage capabilities, including the ability to track invisible targets.

Delta's modifications include specialized rocket legs that enable her to achieve high-speed travel, reminiscent of the Asura Path's abilities. Her eyes possess the ability to absorb and release ninjutsu, as demonstrated when she absorbed Naruto's Rasengan. Additionally, she can unleash a devastating attack called the "Destruction Beam," which surpasses even the most formidable regenerative abilities.

Her enhanced legs can generate wood-like protrusions capable of piercing through the defenses of powerful beings such as Naruto in his Kurama Mode and Six Paths Sage Mode. Delta's augmentations grant her incredible raw strength, effortlessly piercing sturdy trees and inflicting injuries on Naruto with a single punch. She can also envelop herself in chakra, further enhancing her physical abilities.
