Nefertari Vivi is the Princess of the Arabasta Kingdom and she is the child of Titi and Nefertari Cobra. Being the vice-leader of the group commanded by her buddy Koza, Vivi was a member of the Suna Suna Clan when she was a child.
Under the Baroque Works alias Miss Wednesday, Vivi first appeared as a Bounty Hunter and one of the Reverse Mountain Arc's key enemies. At the time, she was working with Mr. 9, another Frontier Agent. But following the events of the Whisky Peak Arc, Vivi and her companion Karoo became part of the Straw Hat Pirates for most of the Arabasta Saga after she was exposed as a spy scheming against Baroque Works.
After defeating Baroque Works, Vivi left the Straw Hats to remain in her home nation. However, she is still regarded as part of the crew and has followed their growth throughout the series. Unknown to the general population, she is detained in the World Economy News Paper's offices.

Vivi is a kind princess who never demanded special treatment or puts herself above others, defying the stereotype of a needy and authoritative princess. She actually frequently prioritises the needs of others over her own and is reluctant to rely on or seek assistance from others for her own issues. She places great value on her friends and her country's residents' lives.
She carries the burden of her country out of generosity and a feeling of duty. She is quick to forgive and slow to get angry, and is deeply devoted to her friends, her family, and her nation. Vivi won't think twice about defending someone she just made a friend of.
She is so brave and faithful that she is willing to make almost any sacrifice. She behaved with maturity beyond her years and knew what it meant to be a princess even when she was a young child. Growing up, Vivi was aware of her responsibility to ensure the welfare of her nation and she thereby acquired outstanding diplomatic abilities.
She is also fearless and determined, taking on enormous enemies for the sake of her comrades while being visibly outmatched. She loves her nation and is prepared to do anything to defend it as a member of Arabasta's royal family, including entering a big criminal organisation. She has no problem performing activities that seem inappropriate for a princess, like washing dishes.
Vivi struggles to come up with insults during conflicts and typically ends up uttering something inoffensive. She frequently refers to people by their nicknames, such as "Mr. Bushido" while referring to Zoro. When anxious, she also has the tendency to bite her lower lip. Despite being sincere and friendly, she can lie when necessary.
She was able to enter Baroque Works at the age of fourteen and, over two years, quickly advanced to the level of the frontier agent without anyone knowing who she really was. When Vivi was going to go to Mary Geoise for Levely, she showed her adventurous side from her days as a pirate, demonstrating how her time with the Straw Hats had changed her.
Vivi is a young woman with long, pale blue hair styled in waves and hanging from both sides of her head. Her hair was originally approximately chin length but had grown over her shoulders by her final appearance. She has brown eyes, and her hair is usually tied back into a ponytail. She wore a ponytail in her shoulder-length hair when she was young.
She has a slim build but doesn't favour wearing less-revealing attire. Vivi has been spotted sporting various high heels, including blue wedges, white high-heel boots, and white high heel sandals. While travelling with the Straw Hats, she hardly ever wore attire reflecting her royal position despite being a princess; nevertheless, she began to do so more frequently after her coming-of-age speech.
She wears her hair down, but it is pulled back with a clip after the time skip and appears to be a little shorter than before. She appeared to have been drawn somewhat differently when she was a member of Baroque Works. She seemed older, and her facial features were much more angular when she was Miss Wednesday.
Before Miss Valentine assaulted her and cut off a few strands of her hair with her hair bead, her ponytail was pulled up very high. Once her true identity was exposed, she was only made to resemble a teenage girl, with slightly larger/rounder facial features and a less defined figure.
Vivi commands an extensive deal of power in her nation as a princess and naturally excels at diplomacy. This was evident even when Vivi was a young child since she behaved with maturity beyond her years and understood what it meant to be a princess.
Vivi has shown her abilities as a spy and mastery of stealth and other covert strategies. This was well demonstrated by the fact that Vivi had established herself as a single-digit member of Baroque Works for two years before having her identity stolen, allowing her to return to Arabasta virtually unnoticed by the locals.
She appears to have maintained her status as a princess since leaving the Straw Hats, successfully hiding her background as a Baroque Works agent and a member of a pirate crew from the Marines and the World Government.
In contrast to the Straw Hats, Vivi has less combat experience. Still, she has already shown that she can hold on her own. She successfully avoided detection when infiltrating Baroque Works, quickly moving up the ranks in less than two years. She and her companion were the Baroque Works frontier agents assigned to eliminate Laboon. They were more skilled than the three other pairs and had previous experience as both agents and bounty hunters.
Vivi was so confident in her fighting skills that she openly attempted to attack Roronoa Zoro before realizing the apparent difference in their physical abilities. Despite his frequent incompetence, Karoo assists Vivi in increasing her combat mobility. She has stunning natural mobility, dodging strikes gracefully and almost mindlessly while frequently expressing amazement when they occur. She also has incredible endurance to pain.
Vivi prefers to use her whirling "Kujakki (Peacock) Slashers," which are tiny, pointy discs wired to her fingertips. Despite being left-handed, she can dual-wield the slashers.
Vivi swings the peacock jewel to form a spinning, slicing disc that she may use to attack by wrapping one end of the wire around one of her pinky fingers. As Miss Wednesday, she concealed these firearms inside the breast-contour rings of her garment.
Vivi has demonstrated the following techniques using Peacock Slashers:
Miwaku no Memai Dance: The movement of the circles on Vivi's dress disorients her opponent while she dances. They are now vulnerable to further assaults. Since the circles on her outfit were changed to stripes in the anime, this style is exclusive to manga.
Miwaku no Kosui Dance: It is a non-canon technique. Vivi uses an approach where she dances while spritzing a particular fragrance into the air. Anyone who inhales the aroma becomes temporarily immobile and unable to protect themselves against an attack by Vivi's Peacock Slashers.
Vivi spent the entirety of the Arabasta Saga virtually travelling and assisting the Straw Hat Pirates. Following Crocodile's defeat, she seriously considered joining their crew. She finally turned down their offer in favour of helping to rebuild her nation. However, she still has a stronger bond with the Straw Hats than anybody else. She is now considered as honorary Straw Hat Pirates member along with Karoo, however, it a secret only known to the crew and Vivi.
King Cobra puts a lot of faith in his daughter's determination and resolve. He exhibits almost the same concern for Vivi's safety as Igaram.
Queen Titi, Vivi's mother, passed away many years before the current plot. Their relationship's length and specifics are unclear.
Chaka and Pell: Chaka and Pell, the two legendary Arabasta warriors, have always kept an eye on Vivi. She is especially beloved by Pell, who even takes her for a ride despite the king's orders.
Super Spot-Billed Duck Troops: The entire Super Spot-Billed Duck Troops have been adopted by Vivi as her pets and mode of transportation. The soldiers are fiercely devoted to Vivi and Karoo in return.
Igaram: Igaram loved the Princess and frequently showed intense worry for her safety, bordering on paranoia. He also voluntarily put his life in danger to defend her after Baroque Works learned of their spying.
Vivi has a close bond with her pet spot-billed duck, Karoo. She loves him very much. He is prepared to do almost anything for her because they have been together since they were little, yet despite their close bond, Vivi still scolds him when he disobeys or fails to grasp even her most basic instructions. Despite this, she trusts him with crucial jobs because she knows she can rely on him.
Vivi has been good friends with Koza, the rebellion's leader, for 11 years. Although they didn't get along when they first met, they eventually developed respect for one another. He saved Vivi as a child from some kidnappers, and she owes him her life.
Because of their friendship, Baroque Works was worried about what would happen if they saw each other again. As a result, they took every precaution to keep them apart.
Vivi first encountered Dalton when she was a little child when she went to the Levely with her father, Cobra, and Dalton acting as Wapol's escort. Despite Wapol's deliberate attempts to stir problems because of a dispute with Cobra, Vivi disregarded his impolite behaviour to avoid a confrontation, impressing Dalton and motivating him to turn against Wapol.
Dalton was delighted she was with the Straw Hats when they were leaving Drum Island after he had figured out her identity.
Crocodile: She genuinely despises Crocodile, the unnamed head of Baroque Works, for the havoc and destruction he brought upon her nation. She has often expressed her desire to kill him or wished for his demise.
Wapol: Vivi first met Wapol when she was a little child. As a result of the latter's conflict with Cobra, the meeting concluded with Wapol pushing and injuring her. But because of Vivi's nobility, the situation was controlled rather than escalating into a conflict between the kingdoms. They were still hostile to one another by their third encounter in a different Levely.
Baroque works: Vivi infiltrated the Baroque Works to work as a double agent. Upon the revelation of her true identity, she was attacked by the agents on numerous occasions.

Vivi has a customized Jolly Roger. This was the first thing Igaram saw on her hat in his nightmare when he feared Vivi might leave to join the Straw Hat Pirates.
Vivi placed 10th, 15th, 14th, 24th, 24th again, and 21st in the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh fan polls of the most popular characters, respectively.
With dancing and acrobatics, the Mr. 9 couple had a "performing" motif.
Vivi and Karoo have been seen on the front pages of multiple chapters despite their extended absence from the book and their break from the Straw Hat crew.
Her name is pronounced "Vivi" with short I's in the 4Kids version as opposed to "Veevee" in the Funimation dub.
Nefertari Meritmut, the famous pharaoh Ramesses the Great's wife, may have inspired the name of Vivi.
The 21st Log claims that Oda, who already had the Arabasta Arc planned in mind, decided at the last minute that Ms. Wednesday could serve as a representative of the nation since, in Oda's opinion, she looked princess-like with her hair down.
No, Vivi doesn’t possess Devil Fruit abilities.
Yes, Vivi and her pet Karoo are considered as Straw Hat Pirates’ members, albeit only by the crew since it is a secret.
Vivi admires the Straw Hat Pirates sincerely but she will choose the welfare of her nation rather than becoming a pirate. However, if it ever came to it, she would likely join Luffy on his adventures.
