Forty-seven years ago, on Whole Cake Island, Mondee was born as the youngest of sororal quadruplets, with elder sisters Mondee and Amande, and younger sister Mondee. Her lineage is a blend of Big Mom and a mysterious Snakeneck man.
On the day before the wedding of Charlotte Pudding and Sanji, Mondee attended a meeting at the Whole Cake Chateau to discuss the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies who were against them.
The following day, Mondee was at the tea party and wedding. The wedding didn't go as planned and there was an attempt to harm Big Mom by the Fire Tank Pirates and Straw Hat Pirates.
However, the Big Mom Pirates were stronger and the situation became chaotic. The Chateau started collapsing after an explosion caused by Big Mom's Tamatebako. Luckily, Streusen saved the pirates by turning part of the Chateau into a soft cake.
Later, Mondee went to Nuts Island and encountered Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy had Charlotte Brûlée with him and used her as a shield when Mondee tried to attack. After a few clashes, Mondee managed to force Luffy down to the ground level.
Mondee is clearly devoted to her family and crew. She attended a meeting to discuss the situation of their enemies in preparation for Pudding's wedding.
Interestingly, Mondee has a unique way of speaking. In the Funimation dub, she uses polite language and changes words to end in "-monder."
Her affection for her family is evident. She shares a close bond with her quadruplet sisters. She even went to Amande's island to help protect its citizens from their mother's destructive actions.
In the anime, Mondee tried to rescue her half-sister Brûlée after Luffy captured her. She halted her attack when Luffy used Brûlée as a shield, not wanting to harm her sister.
Mondee is a sturdy woman with a round face and neck, which hides the elongated neck characteristic of snakeneck lineage.
Her teal hair is long and wavy, and she typically dresses in a yellow buttoned gown. On her head, she dons a wide-brimmed black hat adorned with pink flowers.
Mondee holds a position of authority within the Big Mom Pirates, overseeing lower-ranking members of her crew. While her combat abilities aren't explicitly known, her status as an officer within an Emperor's crew suggests she's likely quite formidable.
Mondee possesses a strong will, as evidenced by her ability to withstand the effects of Big Mom's Haoshoku Haki and stay conscious despite her powerful scream.
In the anime, she is also seen wielding a sword skilled enough to pursue Luffy and even slice a building in half beneath him.
Mondee, derived from "Amande Mondee" meaning "blanched almond" in French, aligns with the food-themed names of the Charlotte Family and Big Mom Pirates.
