Queen, also known as Queen the Plague, holds the prestigious position of an All-Star among the fearsome Beasts Pirates, serving as one of the three most trusted confidants of the formidable pirate captain, Kaido.

In the expansive land of Wano Country, he once held the position of the de-facto ruler over the region known as Udon, exercising his authority with an iron fist.

However, Queen's journey to piracy did not begin right away. Prior to his life as a pirate, he was an integral part of an illicit scientific research organization known as MADS. This clandestine group operated outside the boundaries of the law, and Queen played a pivotal role as one of its esteemed scientists.

Notably, he worked alongside Vegapunk, the foremost scientist employed by the World Government. Together, they conducted groundbreaking research, pushing the boundaries of scientific knowledge and innovation. This partnership continued until MADS faced its eventual dissolution, marking the end of Queen's time as a member.

As the major antagonist of the Wano Country Arc, Queen finds himself deeply involved in the turbulent events unfolding within the nation. Alongside Kaido, he commands a fearsome pirate crew that sought to dominate and control Wano Country.

Queen's role in the arc signifies his significance as a formidable adversary, both in terms of combat prowess and strategic influence. With his imposing presence and unrivaled authority, Queen stands as one of the primary obstacles the arc's protagonists must overcome in their struggle for liberation and justice.

Queen’s History

Queen, a member of the Beasts Pirates, was born 56 years ago on the Grand Line. Prior to joining the Beasts Pirates, Queen was involved in illegal scientific research as part of the MADS team, where he worked alongside Vinsmoke Judge, Vegapunk, and Caesar Clown. However, MADS was eventually dissolved, leading Queen to join the Beasts Pirates.

Twenty years ago, during Kozuki Oden's journey with the Nine Red Scabbards to Onigashima, the Beasts Pirates intercepted them in the Udon region. In the ensuing clash, Queen faced off against Kanjuro and Denjiro. Ultimately, Oden and his allies were overwhelmed by the Beasts Pirates' forces.

When Kaido decided to eliminate the Kozuki Family, Queen, along with King and Jack, was present as they set Oden Castle ablaze.

Wano Country Arc

In the arc, Queen and King were present on Onigashima. They scolded Jack for collecting an insufficient tribute from his assigned region.

A few days later, Queen visited the Prisoner Mine and entertained the staff there with a performance. The prison warden, Babanuki, briefed him about recent chaotic events, including Monkey D. Luffy's escape attempt. Queen decided to confront Luffy and brought him before him, along with the former yakuza leader Hyogoro.

When both Luffy and Hyogoro refused to submit, Queen initiated the "Sumo Inferno" challenge. They were forced to battle the Beasts Pirates in a ring, and if they were thrown out, the collars around their necks would activate and kill them. To make it a fair fight, Queen removed Luffy's Seastone handcuffs.

Luffy and Hyogoro fought throughout the night, and Queen suspended the event until the next morning. However, Queen received devastating news that the oiran Komurasaki, whom he admired, had been killed. Before the match resumed, Queen watched a broadcast of Shimotsuki Yasuie's execution and expressed approval of Orochi's cruelty.

The guards then brought in Eustass Kid and his crewmate Killer, who had been recaptured after escaping the prison. As a new twist, Queen submerged their faces in the water, promising to release them only when Luffy and Hyogoro died. Luffy attempted to attack Queen, but the All-Star effortlessly evaded his punch.

The proceedings were interrupted by the arrival of an amnesiac Big Mom, who craved oshiruko. Queen, defensive of his favorite food, transformed into his brachiosaurus form to confront her. However, Big Mom effortlessly defeated Queen, slamming his head into the ground and throwing him into a rock wall, rendering him unconscious.

Despite this, Queen quickly regained consciousness and devised a strategy to attack Big Mom. He climbed atop the rock wall, transformed again, and crashed head first into Big Mom with his dinosaur form's immense weight. The attack failed to take her down but triggered the return of her memories.

However, Big Mom soon fell asleep, and Queen ordered her to be chained with Seastone and sedated. He prepared a convoy to transport her to Onigashima promptly, leaving the Prisoner Mine under Babanuki's control.

Upon arriving at Onigashima, Queen joined the other All-Stars and observed their subordinates feeding Big Mom. Soon, Kaido arrived, and the two Emperors engaged in a fierce battle, endangering the entire island. Feeling overwhelmed, Queen contemplated returning to Udon but was interrupted by Babanuki's call, assuring him that everything was fine at the Prisoner Mine. Unbeknownst to Queen, the prisoners had revolted and taken control of the prison.

Days later, Kaido and Big Mom ceased fighting and began partying together in preparation for the Fire Festival. This shocking revelation unveiled their alliance to conquer the world, surprising Queen and everyone else.

On the day of the Fire Festival, the Beasts Pirates' Golden Kagura festivities commenced, and Queen performed on the Live Stage. However, chaos erupted when Luffy and Zoro, who had escaped from the Prisoner Mine, started attacking the Beasts Pirates.

In response, Queen offered a Tobiroppo position to whoever could eliminate the duo. Eustass Kid then appeared, leaving Queen astonished and wondering about the events at the prison in his absence.

Later, Queen, along with King and Jack, accompanied Kaido to the Live Stage, where they interrupted Orochi's planned execution of Kozuki Momonosuke. They revealed Kaido's "New Onigashima Project." Kaido executed Orochi as part of his plan to gain full control over Wano by putting it under the Beasts Pirates' rule. However, the Nine Red Scabbards unexpectedly ambushed Kaido before he could execute Momonosuke.

Kaido and the samurai moved up to the dome roof while their allies initiated an invasion. Queen observed as Sanji arrived to free Momonosuke, a situation handled by King. Remaining on the Live Stage, Queen noticed Luffy and Zoro attempting to reach the roof. He intercepted them by capturing them in his brachiosaurus mouth and then spat them back onto the Live Floor.

Queen summoned Who's-Who, a member of the Tobiroppo, to bring Tobiroppo X Drake to him. Queen suspected Drake's involvement in treacherous activities and attacked him, seeking to force him to reveal his true allegiance. However, Drake managed to escape by creating an explosion. He then joined the enemy fighters on the Live Floor.

In response to the escalating situation, Queen used his Gatling gun to fire bullets containing his Ice Oni virus into the crowd. The virus infected both comrades and enemies, turning them into berserkers resembling zombies. Queen sealed off all the exits on the floor, trapping everyone inside. When questioned by some Pleasures about infecting them as well, Queen explained that the virus would make them more useful.

To intensify the chaos, Queen revealed that he had given the only sample of Ice Oni antibodies to his crewmate Scratchmen Apoo. This announcement led to a frenzy as everyone on the floor pursued Apoo. Zoro eventually defeated Apoo and obtained the antibodies, delivering them to his crewmate Tony Tony Chopper.

Chopper declared his intention to create a cure for everyone on the floor. Queen attempted to shoot Chopper with his Gatling gun, but Zoro destroyed the weapon with a sword slash.

Marco of the Whitebeard Pirates arrived to assist in the cure efforts and transport Zoro to the roof. In response, Queen commanded his subordinates to stop Marco. Queen transformed and fired a shot at Marco, but it had no effect as Marco managed to restrain both Queen and King, enabling Zoro to reach the roof.

Queen engaged in a battle against Marco alongside King, with Marco landing powerful hits on the All-Stars. Queen's subordinates pleaded with him to save them from the Ice Oni, but Queen callously dismissed them, considering them expendable soldiers who would never gain the opportunity to become stronger with a SMILE power.

He also claimed that Chopper, being a pirate, wouldn't help cure them. However, Chopper surprised everyone by unleashing his counter virus, Chopperphage, which spread through the air and cured the Ice Oni infection. A shocked Queen attempted to attack Chopper again, but his own subordinates rose up to protect the Straw Hat doctor, having decided to defect due to Queen's mistreatment.

Marco then restrained Queen by the neck, allowing Chopper to activate his Monster Point form and deliver a powerful strike to Queen's face, drawing blood.

Although Chopper physically overpowered Queen, his attacks only caused surface-level damage. Charlotte Perospero, Big Mom's son, came to Queen's aid by launching candy arrows at the Live Floor, giving Queen the advantage against Chopper. However, Sanji intervened with a flaming kick to Queen's neck, causing it to spin and unintentionally intercept Perospero's arrows, sending Perospero flying.

Queen then witnessed a young girl named Tama command the Gifters to turn against their own crew, and he attempted to fire a laser at Tama but was once again stopped by Sanji. Recognizing Sanji as Judge's son, Queen transformed into his human-beast form and activated his cyborg implants.

King eventually joined Queen in the fight, and together they overwhelmed Sanji and Marco before launching an assault on the defected Beasts Pirates. However, Sanji and Marco returned to the battle, stalling Queen and King long enough for the heavily injured Zoro to recover with a special drug. Sanji and Zoro unleashed simultaneous attacks on Queen and King, knocking them both to the ground.

After getting back up, Queen and King continued their battle against Sanji and Zoro. When Sanji activated his Diable Jambe, Queen speculated whether the power came from Judge's modifications, but Sanji denied it. Queen attempted to provoke Sanji into using his Germa Raid Suit, but Sanji refused. Despite Sanji's powerful kicks, they only caused superficial damage to Queen's resilient Ancient Zoan body.

Queen decided to reveal the "true power" of his Devil Fruit. His neck and tail transformed into a serpent that wrapped around Sanji, exerting a crushing force that even the strongest Busoshoku Haki user couldn't withstand.

However, while discussing the explosive gunnery in his empty torso, Queen accidentally triggered it, shooting himself and freeing Sanji. Although injured, Sanji managed to remain standing. When Queen tried to attack him with a giant sword, the sword shattered upon contact, leaving Queen stunned.

Sanji grew fearful about the changes happening to him and attempted to flee, with Queen in pursuit. They ended up in the Pleasure Hall, where Queen encountered a geisha named Some, whom he desired but had rejected repeatedly. Enraged by her presence, Queen turned invisible and attacked her before refocusing on Sanji.

Sanji decided to destroy his Raid Suit, disappointing Queen. The battle continued, and Queen showcased the same special abilities that Judge had given to Sanji and his brothers. Although Sanji landed strikes that pushed Queen closer to his limits, Queen emulated Sanji's invisibility power, only for Sanji to counter by moving faster than the eye could see.

As Queen prepared to attack Some once again, Sanji unleashed Ifrit Jambe, a more intense version of Diable Jambe empowered by his new modifications. Sanji delivered a series of devastating kicks, culminating in the powerful attack Bœuf Burst, which defeated Queen and sent him flying off Onigashima.

After the alliance's victory, Queen, along with King and other crew members, relocated to the former Prisoner Mine. A week later, Marine Admiral Ryokugyu arrived and assaulted the complex. Ryokugyu impaled Queen with a tree branch, causing him to rapidly dehydrate and shrink. Despite Queen's plea to maintain his weight, Ryokugyu ruthlessly stomped on him multiple times.

Queen’s Personality

As an All-Star of the Beasts Pirates, Queen takes great pride in his position and considers himself a lively entertainer within the crew. He enjoys performing his unique funky songs and dances to rally his subordinates. Queen sees his role as a personal show, often treating his tasks and responsibilities with dramatic flair. He even requested Babanuki to create an official ranking of issues at Udon, showcasing his dramatic nature.

Queen can be quite vain during his performances, proudly claiming that his large size is not fat but muscle, and suggesting that he would be more attractive if he were not voluntarily so big. However, he protested when his corporal volume was diminished by Ryokugyu's attack.

Queen in One Piece.
Still from the anime.

His arrogance is evident as he views the Beasts Pirates as the strongest crew and considers the Pleasure and Waiter members useless due to their lack of artificial Zoan Devil Fruit powers. He despises those who criticize him, including his fellow All-Star King, and takes twisted pride in using his viruses to harm people, even his own subordinates. Queen shows no regard for ethical considerations and finds Chopper's efforts to save infected members of the Beasts Pirates unnecessary and irritating.

Queen exhibits a sadistic nature and has a strong affinity for blood sports and execution games. He believes that the duration of a battle and the number of participants determine the excitement level of a fight. While he allows Luffy to participate in the Great Sumo Inferno without the constraints of Seastone cuffs, his execution games are designed to be inescapable and unwinnable. He is willing to implement sadistic rules, such as keeping Kid and Kamazo submerged in water until Luffy and Hyogoro are defeated in the ring. Queen does not hesitate to manipulate the lives of his subordinates, such as the Pleasures and Waiters, for his own amusement.

Despite his inflated ego, Queen often loses his composure in urgent situations. For example, when the Nine Red Scabbards suddenly appeared to attack Kaido on the Live Stage, Queen was shocked and bewildered by their unexpected arrival. He also showed fear and panic when Big Mom regained her memory and took extreme precautions to restrain her and escort her to Onigashima.

However, in doing so, he overlooked the threat posed by Luffy, who was now free and able to cause trouble in Udon. This highlights Queen's tendency to prioritize his own safety.

Similar to King, Queen is rude and critical of his crewmates. He often derides his fellow All-Stars and uses derogatory language when addressing his subordinates. He particularly shows disdain towards Jack and readily gangs up on him with King.

Queen takes pride in his scientific talents and flaunts his personal cybernetic modifications, which he believes to be superior to Vegapunk's. He enjoys proving his scientific superiority, as seen when he challenged Sanji to use his Raid Suit against him. Queen also has a fondness for beautiful women, often ogling pictures and frequenting the Red-Light District.

As a glutton, Queen has an immense love for oshiruko, considering it as important as the air he breathes. He adamantly refuses to share it with anyone and becomes irritable and even murderous when deprived of his daily fill. His obsession with oshiruko is so intense that he is willing to fight against Big Mom to protect his beloved treat.

Queen often interjects the word "Excite" into his sentences, playing on his epithet "Plague." He has a distinctive laugh, "Muhahaha."

Queen’s Appearance

Queen is a massive, round-figured man with an evident obesity issue, although he claims otherwise. He stands at an impressive height of 612 cm, just a centimeter shorter than his fellow All-Star, King. Queen has a top-heavy build, with thick arms but relatively smaller legs. After being drained of his fluids by Ryokugyu, he becomes much skinnier.

His head is hunched and blends into his plump neck. He has a small face with hidden eyes behind sunglasses featuring blue lenses and gray oval rims. Instead of traditional temples, the sunglasses are held in place by black tape forming an X shape on his forehead and occiput. Queen lacks visible eyebrows, sports a small hook nose, and constantly smokes a large cigar.

He has blond hair, styled in a thick queue-like braid with eight ties and a stinger-shaped ending tuft. His face also showcases a Fu Manchu mustache that droops down to his chest. A stitched scar curves from his right chest to his shoulder.

On his upper right arm, he bears a black tattoo of his crew's Jolly Roger above his name in block capitals. Queen's left arm is cybernetic, consisting of metallic rings, bolted plating, wiring, and a small pressure gauge, with the hand covered by an orange glove. However, Sanji destroyed his left arm during the Raid on Onigashima.

In terms of attire, Queen wears large, high-waisted overalls that reach just below his chest. The overalls are thickly striped in black and white and held up by suspenders with golden clasps. His metal arm also integrates a matching striped piece of cloth. He completes his outfit with simple brown ankle boots.

As a child, Queen had a chubby figure and a buzz cut hairstyle. He wore dark overalls and had goggles on his forehead.

During his time in MADS, Queen had a thinner physique, no facial hair, and styled, dyed hair in a mohawk-like fashion. He wore sunglasses, earrings, a light open shirt, striped trousers, a belt, and dark gloves. Over the years, he gained weight, grew out his mustache, started braiding his hair into a queue, and mechanized his left arm.

Queen’s Abilities

As one of the All-Stars of the Beasts Pirates, Queen holds significant authority within the crew, second only to the Governor-General. He formerly had the highest authority over the Udon region in Wano Country and was responsible for overseeing operations at the Prisoner Mine, where he directly commanded the Shinuchi who maintained the facility.

In terms of combat prowess, Queen is considered one of the strongest warriors among the Beasts Pirates. He possesses a fearsome reputation, as evidenced by his bounty of Beli 1,320,000,000. Queen has been a member of the Beasts Pirates for at least 20 years and was already recognized as one of their most formidable members during that time.

Like the other All-Stars, Queen is referred to as a "calamity" due to his destructive capabilities. He is known as "The Plague" because of his expertise in using highly potent manufactured viruses. His viruses are so dangerous that they could have wiped out the thousands of warriors on the Live Floor of the Skull Dome if not for the efforts of Tony Tony Chopper, the doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates.

In combat, Queen demonstrates exceptional fighting skills. He and King engaged in battle against Marco the Phoenix, the former right-hand man of Emperor Whitebeard, and emerged from the fight with only superficial injuries.

Queen has the ability to use both types of Haki: Busoshoku Haki and Kenbunshoku Haki. However, he rarely utilizes these abilities in combat, preferring to rely on his Devil Fruit powers and cybernetic enhancements.

With Busoshoku Haki, Queen can strengthen and harden his arm to enhance his defense against incoming attacks. This allows him to withstand powerful blows and protect himself.

Queen also possesses Kenbunshoku Haki, which grants him heightened perception and awareness of his surroundings. This ability enables him to sense the presence of others and predict their movements, giving him an advantage in battle.

While Queen is capable of using both Haki types, he tends to prioritize his Devil Fruit ability and technological modifications during fights.

Physical Abilities

Queen possesses exceptional fighting skills, combining his immense physical strength with the capabilities of his cybernetic enhancements. He can effortlessly block powerful attacks and overpower opponents, such as throwing Luffy to the ground with his mechanical arm.

Queen also demonstrated his strength by overpowering Sanji, a highly skilled martial artist, and slamming him through reinforced stone walls with ease. However, Queen has limitations, as he was unable to track Sanji's newfound speed and was swiftly defeated by the barrage of powerful techniques enhanced by Ifrit Jambe.

Weapons

Queen uses two large swords that are bigger than normal. He attacked X Drake with one of them but Sanji broke it when Queen tried to strike him. Queen can also fight with a torch as a club. He carries a Gatling gun that shoots special bullets filled with his powerful Ice Oni virus. Zoro destroyed the gun. Queen also has a large pistol and a regular machine gun that he used in his battle with Marco.

Engineering

In addition to his combat prowess, Queen is an accomplished scientist, inventor, and mechanic. He specializes in creating biological weapons, designing advanced cybernetics, and modifying himself to replicate the abilities of Modified Humans like the Vinsmoke Family. He takes pride in his skills and has a particular talent for developing torture machines to break the spirits of his enemies and extract information.

Medical Expertise

Queen in One Piece.

As a virologist, Queen is a genius in the field of viruses. He has created highly dangerous and contagious viruses, which he can weaponize using Excite Bullets. These bullets can instantly spread the diseases upon impact, allowing Queen and his allies to infect a large group of enemies with just a few shots. He has developed antidotes for some of his deadliest viruses, showcasing his medical expertise.

He also created the following viruses:

  • Mummy virus: It causes a high fever and continuous bleeding. Victims experience dehydration and suffer from everlasting pain.

  • Ice Oni virus: It covers the victims' skin in ice, transforming certain body parts to resemble oni and enhancing their physical abilities. Victims are left freezing and exhibit savage behavior. The combination of frost and increased strength leads to death within approximately one hour.

Cybernetic Enhancements

Queen has extensively modified his body with advanced cybernetic enhancements, earning him the title of a "cyborg." His augmentations are so technologically advanced that even the renowned scientist Vegapunk would struggle to replicate them. These enhancements greatly aid Queen in battle and are integrated with his Zoan abilities.

Some of Queen's cybernetic enhancements include:

  • Laser beams, metal grappling claws, and rocket launchers installed within his body.

  • In his full brachiosaurus form, he possesses a double-barreled Gatling gun, artificial fangs, and a laser beam cannon in his tail and hair braid. His mouth also features advanced technology with retractable needles and voice-activated rocket launchers.

  • His hybrid form showcases additional modifications, such as clawed tentacle appendages on his tail and braided hair that can also fire lasers. His prosthetic left arm can change shape, resembling claw-like tentacles.

  • Queen has studied the technology of Germa 66 and incorporated some of their abilities into his own enhancements. He can replicate powers similar to those of the Vinsmoke siblings, such as Ichiji's optic beams, Niji's electric shocks, Sanji's invisibility, and Yonji's extendable metal arm.

Thanks to his Cybernetic Enhancements, Queen uses various cybernetic abilities and attacks during combat:

  • Black Coffee (Burakku Kōhī): In his Full Beast Form, Queen can emit a laser beam from his mouth, tail, mechanical arm, or hair. The beam causes explosions upon impact, similar to the Pacifista's attacks. The name of this technique is a pun on "black light flame" and "coffee," referencing Queen's brachiosaur theme. It was first used against Hyogoro and later named when he used it against Chopper.

  • Bridal Grapper (Buraidaru Gurappā): In his Human-Beast Form, Queen heats up his mechanical hair claw to burn and grab his target. This move was attempted on Zoro but was countered by Sanji's Diable Jambe. The name is a play on "bridal" and "grabber," reflecting Queen's brachiosaur motif.

  • Bry Pan (Burai Pan): In his Human-Beast Form, Queen rapidly punches using his hair claw, tail claw, and left arm claw. It was employed against Sanji. The name combines "fry pan" with the altered syllable "brachio" to match Queen's theme.

  • Brachio Launcher (Burakio Ranchā): In his Beast Form, Queen activates rocket launchers equipped to his torso using a voice command. This was accidentally triggered by mentioning the "Brachio Launchers" and was used against Sanji.

  • Sparking Queen (Supākingu Kuīn): Queen's variation of Germa 66's Sparking Red. He emits beams from his eyes.

  • Henry Queen (Henrī Kuīn): Queen's variation of Germa 66's Dengeki Blue. He electrifies his body, extends his mechanized neck, and bites his opponent, delivering an electric shock.

  • Winch Queen (Uinchi Kuīn): Queen's variation of Germa 66's Winch Green. He extends his mechanical left arm, grabs his opponent, and swings them around, slamming them into walls.

Devil Fruit

Queen consumed the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Brachiosaurus, an Ancient Zoan-type Devil Fruit that grants him the ability to transform into a full brachiosaurus or a human-brachiosaurus hybrid. In his full brachiosaurus form, Queen becomes massive and towers over even the tallest humans like Big Mom.

As a Zoan user, Queen experiences a significant increase in his physical abilities. Being an Ancient Zoan further amplifies his strength and durability due to the tough nature of the dinosaur species. He has showcased remarkable resilience, enduring powerful attacks from various opponents, including Sanji's Diable Jambe kicks, Chopper's strikes in Monster Point, Perospero's candy arrows, and even direct hits from Big Mom herself.

In combat, Queen utilizes the distinct features of a brachiosaurus, such as his long neck. He can swing his head to strike opponents or use his extended neck to reach distant targets or those in mid-air, aided by his cybernetic enhancements. In his transformed state, Queen's increased body weight becomes a formidable asset, allowing him to exert tremendous pressure and crush opponents with ease.

Furthermore, Queen possesses the extraordinary ability to detach his neck and tail from his torso while in Beast Form. This enables him to transform into a formidable snake-like creature, boasting incredible strength in his coiled body. Queen claims that even individuals skilled in Busoshoku Haki would have their bones and organs crushed by his powerful coils.

While in his Human-Beast Form, Queen often relies on his cybernetic enhancements and swordsmanship. However, in his Beast Form, he fully utilizes the strength, weight, and unique abilities bestowed upon him by his brachiosaurus transformation.

Queen’s Relationships

Crew

Although Queen treats his crewmates with obnoxious behavior, he is actually quite popular among the lower-ranking members due to his entertaining performances and love for execution games. However, his subordinates fear him when he becomes angry, especially if he is denied his favorite food, oshiruko.

Unfortunately, Queen doesn't hold the Pleasures and Waiters in high regard and sees them as disposable. He subjected them to a sadistic game involving the Ice Oni virus, using them as expendable soldiers for the Beasts Pirates. This treatment led some of the Pleasures and Waiters to rebel against Queen and join the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance.

Queen also dislikes the Numbers, mainly because of their drinking problems.

Kaido

Queen in One Piece.
Still from the anime.

Queen holds a high position of trust and loyalty from Kaido, being one of his three closest associates. They have a casual relationship, with Queen addressing Kaido by his name rather than formal titles. Queen is dedicated to serving Kaido and even attacked Big Mom when she invaded Wano, showing his loyalty.

Although Queen is highly regarded by Kaido, the crew's hierarchy is determined by individual power, and Kaido allowed the lower-ranking Tobiroppo members to challenge any All-Star for their position. This indicates that power is a key factor in the crew's structure.

Kaido also took pleasure in informing Queen about the supposed death of Komurasaki, causing Queen great sadness and distress.

King

Queen in One Piece.

Queen and King, the two fellow All-Stars, have a rivalry and often insult each other in front of their subordinates. They share a mutual dislike for their fellow All-Star, Jack. Queen blames King for Big Mom's presence on Onigashima and they exchange hostile remarks. However, when needed, they can work together and have confidence in each other's abilities.

Jack

Despite their rivalry, Queen and King are still part of the same crew and work together when needed. Their relationship with Jack is characterized by ridicule and insults, with Queen and King ganging up on him. Jack remains silent and respectful in response.

Scratchmen Apoo

Queen has a close relationship with Scratchmen Apoo, whom he considers a brother. They share a love for music and have performed together. However, Queen also subjected Apoo to a sadistic game with the Ice Oni virus, putting him in danger. Queen later tried to infect Apoo with the virus, but Zoro intervened and destroyed the gun.

Enemies

Monkey D. Luffy

Queen genuinely respects Luffy for his strength and reputation as a member of the Worst Generation. He has repeatedly tried to convince Luffy to join the Beasts Pirates and even offered to pardon him for his crimes. Queen was impressed by Luffy's use of Haoshoku Haki.

However, Queen still looks down on Luffy to some extent and makes sure to remind him that he is a prisoner. He also noticed Luffy's concern for Eustass Kid and used it to his advantage by torturing Kid to motivate Luffy in their Sumo Inferno game.

Tony Tony Chopper

Queen in One Piece.
Still from the anime.

Queen holds a low opinion of Chopper, seeing him as just a ship's doctor and doubting his ability to counter his viral weapons. He thought Chopper was lying about having a cure for the Ice Oni disease, but Chopper proved him wrong by actually curing the victims. This made Queen angry, and he tried to shoot Chopper.

Chopper opposes Queen's weaponization of viruses and believes they cannot be controlled by humans. He corrected Queen when he called him a tanuki, asserting that he is a reindeer. Despite Chopper's efforts, he was overpowered by Queen, but Sanji intervened in the fight.

Sanji

Queen in One Piece.

Queen knows about Sanji's connection to Vinsmoke Judge and constantly taunts him as "Judge's son". He believes Sanji's abilities are a result of Judge's modifications to his children. Queen disregards Sanji's refusal to use the Raid Suit and wants to test it against the powers of the Vinsmoke brothers. Sanji gets angry when he discovers Queen injured Some, a geisha he cared about, and unleashes a powerful attack called Ifrit Jambe to defeat Queen.

Hyogoro

Queen initially mocked Hyogoro and sentenced him to the Great Sumo Inferno, but later acknowledged his strength when Hyogoro regained his prime. Queen targeted Hyogoro as a significant threat.

X Drake

Queen was shocked to see Big Mom at the Prison Mines and they clashed over their love for oshiruko. Queen transformed into a brachiosaurus to fight her but was quickly overpowered. He later imprisoned Big Mom using Seastone chains and escorted her to Onigashima with tight security. Despite his fear, Queen still showed disrespect by calling her an "old hag".

Others

Komurasaki

Queen is deeply infatuated with Komurasaki and adores her beauty. He carries around her picture and becomes extremely upset when he learns of her supposed death, crying and pleading for it to be untrue. His subordinates fear reporting her death to him because they believe he will react with anger and violence.

Some

After Komurasaki's death, Queen became infatuated with Some, a young geisha from the Flower Capital. However, Some had no interest in him and would make excuses to avoid him. This angered Queen, leading him to attack her when he had the chance. However, his distraction and underestimation of Sanji resulted in his defeat.

Vinsmoke Judge

Queen and Vinsmoke Judge were former colleagues in a research team called MADS. Queen knows Judge's children, including Sanji, and often refers to him as "Judge's son". Queen is highly interested in Judge's research on Modified Humans and wants to prove himself as a better scientist than Judge.

He is a playable character in the following games:

  • One Piece Treasure Cruise

Did You Know?

  • Queen, like his fellow All-Stars King and Jack, is named after a playing card rank.

  • It is possible that Queen had a different name before it was changed, similar to how King's name was bestowed on him by Kaido.
